conclusion: Kvk1/2/3 : All talented Gears and decent commander = garrison captain SoC: max Crystal tech + talented legendary Gears + SoC Accessories + latest Garrison Commanders + tons of troops = proper garrison captain Garrison and rally meta changes rapidly, especially garrison, best advice I can give to F2P and small spenders is to avoid investing into garrison, you rarely gonna get your chance to show off, and it might just sit in your collection... collecting dusts. At least for rally meta, most of the pairs are still viable in field battle.
I think everyone should invest in yss at a minimum for their city, you might not get rallied in kvk but you probably will in ark. I feel he’s as flexible as ysg.
Whale problem: my equipment is so great that people don’t rally against my garrison. VIP 17 is really, really important. 5% all damage is huge. I feel that should have been the first thing mentioned.
All damage means it everything right? Normal + Counterattack + Skill damage? Yeah that is crazy. I am vip 16 and going for 17 is really gonna take a year 😭
The challenge I have (pre KvK 3) is that players from later in the game come back with maxed out commanders that the game hasn't yet allowed me to counter. So even though I may have a max garrison commander with legendary equipment I still lose to players that have come back in time with older commanders I don't even have access to. That is my #3 complaint about this game.

Something I've never seen mentioned for captains is the ability to recover and generate troops. The captain will lose a heck load of troops every single day of kvk. Your troops, tech, vip, equipment don't matter if you can't take the long haul. Even in a small kingdom, being a captain is Big Spenders Only. I've spent the better part of a year recovering from that blunder.
Is there plans to release same kind of video tutorial for those who are thinking of rally leaders roles? I mean many ways same issues there. U need the gear, maxed commander's, meta commander's non the less, not to mention about crystal tech.
After watching this, I feel like the best course of action for higher tier kingdoms is to get as many people who max tech and then spread the mge garrison captains amounts them. And have current gear of those players play a role in who they’d get obviously
I just got an account from a friend, it has decent gear but has the coin accessory crafted. I really want to craft the infantry set helm. Should I dismantle the coin for the material or keep it? Another thing is I think I will be migrating back to a kvk 2 to catch up on some commanders like Alex. And also save gold heads for SOC commanders.
eventually, I did want to invest in a garrison combination. I currently have a largely untouched 2111 Theo/YSS 5111. I dont wanna garrison full time, but i seem to be on a fair amount during my alliances downtime, so I wanted an option to make our enemies work for an objective. Only downside is i'm a lot spend player, who doesnt get a lot of orange gear fragments. If I proc low-spend gear to boost as much stats as possible, will this be servicable as a downtime garrison scenario?
TL;DR max them or forget it. Both YSS and Theo need their expertise to work as advertised. YSS gets 40% stats from it and Theo gets her signature debuff removal. Also, as a downtime garrison, be prepared to solo fill.

only if lilith do this to crystal tech remove them or make them permanent but under these conditions: the buffs from crystal tech will be available when your kd have entered kvk and you have teleported to the kvk map Edit: fixed misspelling

I got zeno/theo ( i know i know yss give me a break lol :)) ) only because from my previous kingdom all whales left so we needed to do something about it for us as a small kingdom worked , we moved into a bigger kingdom where they had garrison captains where i only used my zeno when the enemy wanted to do a split push so we needed more garrisons over all for me was a good investemnt bc i am always playing ark , active in kvk , i have my wished field marchează maxed and good equipment some golden stuff here and there on every march but i am at a point where i dont really feel the need for new commanders so yeah i rather give a little help and did the zeno

Use all your rss and speeds in preparation for events and at least get something out if it if you’re planning on spending money lmao also don’t use universal speeds on anything but tech and if you care about your wallet don’t be like me and do those fckn lohar events that give arrows 😭 the biggest challenge will be hospital to 25 and academy to 25 😅

Depending on strategy also,because you can not get best in everything on every situation…so be smart to used suitable plan by know your people what they have that is the best you can do,if not a whale so hard to have best gears and VIP 17 for Garrison….by the way the best is you have more people for reinforce and control the field ,look at 1075 (almost Best gear ,best talent….best etc….but less fighter and focus on good trade then continue loss anyway)
Like most other events ,Olympia has been updated to suit the whales again...making it quicker is one thing , but you simply get wiped out in two active skill cycles ...Some of us have a new reason to spend less time online 🍻🍻
I’m getting a garrison commander as a F2P. I’m too stubborn to except I have to pay over 20k every KvK just to have a garrison and be useful. Tech is irrelevant if your doing it to help Ark team. Equipment ok. Tech…..well that needs to be removed from them game completely
