On my Marder, I rotated the pull starter plate by 90 degrees. The handle is now facing the sky, and it is no longer rubbing against the drive shaft when running. The beetle body is cool !
I'm just so pleased you like the marder , I would never of sold it to anyone else , but if you think that is a 26cc engine that's half the size of a scooter engine so a lot of power in an RC car really , slicks come up on eBay or yamma wheels fit the marder I think the rovan has hexes .

I really understand you about the weather. Living in Sweden is hard as an RC addict during winter 🥶 It's like a rock falling from the chest when the sun comes out . That Marder is running great. Seems fast for a petrol, probably because of the 2wd?

Sweet bud lovely car been doing vids ony channel too take koyosho pten alpha s out soon and traxxis russler Shockwave bud need put brake pads in arm but take diff apart put in casing put it back together
I use a 7.4 lipo, but use a bec that reduces to 6.0 not too expensive. Plus no matter how low batt gets it not going to drop under 6v so always works. Hope that helps mate

Nice video! How do you manage to use a li-pol battery? It supplies 7,4v insted of 6,0v needed for servos and reciever.
It’s a LiFe battery; 6.6V 🤘🏻👍🏻
