I haven't seen many great options right now that actually help data nerds so i'm hoping this course will do that!
I'm curious how their Advanced Data Analysis scales up. We have multiple gigs data sets. I have a feeling it will have issues reading it all unless some sort of RAG is implemented. Maybe they already have?
yeah I don't think it's capable with ADA... but it is capable using the Noteable plugin, which. I talk about in the previous video to this

From what i've seen so far it's pretty limiting... only can really make a table. Let me know if you find different, but I'm very unimpressed

This will be interesting to see how Data Governance Councils of various organizations will handle outputs for this, should they adopt the Enterprise editions. I venture to guess that your video demonstrates that there will be required data lineage audits of all such outputs, might even be a unique niche for consulting industry. Much like yourself I foresee such advents of technology leaps like this cultivating higher demand for analytics and validation creating more opportunities for those are willing to stay on the cutting edge.
Yeah I think this is an important discussion companies need to start having NOW on the importance of governance. I think there will be plenty of consulting in the future for this.
But rn I think the hardest part is getting companies to start taking action on mitigating this
In 2008 SAP acquired Business Objects and we had for the first time semantic layers for reporting, it was not until 2017 that Microsoft released Power BI with semantic layers. In 2018, ThoughtSpot release self-service AI analytics, and I am unaware of any other company to match it... If it took Microsoft 9 years to catch-up, and AI prompted data visualizations have been around for 5 years now, and this is really the first comparative I have seen... If the producers of tech lag the adopter are even worse. Unfortunately, the data space moves significantly slower than the technological capabilities... we will be waiting a while @@LukeBarousse
Hi Luke, thanks for the video. As someone who has been studying data analysis for months now this looks like a serious threat to the amount of data analyst jobs that will be needed in the future. I saw your past video that explains how chat gpt isn’t perfect for data analysis but would you say it’s a bigger threat to jobs now with its focus on data analysis?
I still feel the same based on what I said in my previous video. But I’ll add that I think data analyst jobs are safe as long as you’re learning how to use AI to speed up your workflow. I feel AI and data analytical tools are going to go hand-in-hand in doing this job.

ChatGPT plus is 20 a month here in the US. No clue on what they will charge for enterprise. but i'm very curious to find out

Yeah, maybe even more, you still have to have somebody with domain knowledge go in and explore the data
So basically in coming years almost all data analyst are done with there jobs, keep us updated, Sir.❤
I think quite the opposite
I guess they will not lose their jobs, just salaries will go down to 40-50k and it will be considered a simple office job which doesn't require much training

@@VantaBlackin I do, I feel quite strongly on it. The invention of electronic spreadsheets didn't take away accountants jobs, in fact it did quite the opposite. Technologies like this just improve our way of life.
Will there be some shuffling withing Data jobs and will some people that don't have AI skills get replaced? Yep, but overall I think this will be a net positive for how we analyze data in the future.

Nope, Data Analysts are still needed to feed it clean and reliable information to get what humans really want (reports on upcoming EV rebates, etc). “It” just can’t do it as of yet.

Not looking like it so far. BUT there is a plug-in that can do this. I talk about it in my second to last video. The plug-in is amazing
I'm still on the free tier of ChatGPT and I can't even state how useful it is or how much time I saved. At this point, I'm terrified of upgrading knowing full well I can't ever go back.
