If you're stuck in silver, most likely, you're not as good as the guy you're watching right now. Trust me, if you are good enough, you'll climb throughout the season. Sometimes you're a skilled player but you lack game sense, positioning, and decision-making.
@@TheBlackSage7 I can agree that if you're having bad luck, queuing with trash teammates, you might be slightly lower placed than you should be. If you're performing way better than your pairs, even if your win rate is below 50%, you'll still climb. The matchmaking will correct itself over time. If you are good, you'll eventually reach the rank you deserve.
he should have played his main heroes. his ana is gold at best with the lack of awareness of when to use his abilities and it looked like it was his first time trying out kiriko after having watched 1 "kiriko's abilities explained" video.
I feel like all supports should have basic awareness and he had none of it even when he switched to Moira. His suzus were terrible. All of his ult usage were questionable. I see when he tries to sleep a diving Winston but his reaction time is beyond slow for him to execute any of it, maybe because he's used to slow paced games. Makes sense that he's plat as a Moira/mercy the two with the lowest skill floor in the support pool. Ik he's not an Ana main but c'mon playing the game for a while and seeing other Ana's on his team who main them should just make sense. I'm not a Moira main in any sense but know I'm useless long range so I'll be a lot closer with the team. I usually don't play bap but it's common sense to not put a lamp in the open when you can Los it from damage. Its common sense.
Why is he using sleep blindly in the fight. Strongest cool down for support and just wastes it every time. Then when he needs it he has 0 cool downs because he's just thrown them around like dolla dolla bills at the strip club.
I would like to see masters Vs gold, except the masters are muted and cannot communicate in any way, whilst the gold have full comms. Let's see how much of a difference comms really makes!
tbh i need to do one of these bc i’m hard stuck silver and genuinely feel like i should be at a higher rank. i played in a diamond lobby like,,, ONCE bc they were grouped up and i was able to keep up with it well.
I think the thing you're grouped, so communication is a lot more synergized. Soloing in diamond tier games I doubt you'll be able to keep up with the momentum. Because if you strongly believe you should be in diamond I promise you, you will not be struggling in silver games.
in OW1 I was like 30SP from Masters away and I'm not humble just realistic, I would've had a hard time then. Just watch other top players. If you can't comfortably switch to at least two other heros and don't communicate (or badly), you're Plat or low Diamond.

note: this is constructive criticism. i don’t mean to hurt his or anyone else’s feelings. as a plat ana player (who also has kiriko in top 3) i don’t believe he’s ready to move on yet. in fact, his playstyle on both ana and kiriko seem a bit too carefree. with ana, and it hurts my soul to see this, he used sleeps like they were regular bullets. his nades could’ve been used better and more often, since nades can boost heals and prevent heals for enemies, he could look for more nades to heal teammates efficiently, and antis to help his team push in when needed. he also BARELY used ads. this one specifically is a big and easy thing to fix. when you ads with ana, her bullets become hitscan, which means the bullets become instant. this means healing is instant, and damage is instant, when you hit your shots. this could really mean life or death for your team or an enemy, since projectile is not gonna be as efficient as hitscan since hitscan is instantaneous. I recommend watching a few vids for ana to help get the gist of her, and play plenty of games to practice new things and master old things. lastly, he used nano either when he was gonna die, or a teammate was, which benefits nobody. obviously, if the tank was the one who was critical, yeah that’s a great nano, but he used it on lucio (btw, this is why i use target confirmation.) which kinda did nothing for anyone honestly. and the one on winton when he died was a waste, winton didn’t do much with it (he really couldn’t tbh) but that’s just a few things i have to say as an ana main. with kiriko, i didn’t see much positioning that benefitted both him and his team. he swift stepped and left the dva (which i understand, tough spot.) but then he didn’t LOS to heal dva when she was at critical. on top of this, ult was seen once and wasted, which didn’t help at all. also saw a few good cleanses but like koby said, that’s good for that moment. cooldowns and healing needed to be better in all honesty. to be fair though, with practice he could be better. he also never said he belonged in masters lobbies. so i believe he can climb to diamond with a few improvements.
Is this only for PC players? I would love a chance on here.. I've been stuck in platinum, and as soon as o get close to diamond, I feel like OW finds players who are just throwing no matter what or dps that are good but don't understand positioning. Context I'm a Moira main so people automatically feel like I'm just dosing when I'm trying to recharge lol
The blog the other day has changed our perception of Overwatch. People need to get ‘Ranks’ and ‘Elo-hell’ out of their mind. The rank is only cosmetic and does, in no way, reflect skill. Your MMR measures your skill yet you can’t see it. Competitive mode is now completely pointless and redundant. A bronze could have a higher MMR than a master.
@@michaelmcgee8189 Yes. Your matchmaking is decided by MMR which is unrelated to rank. MMR is used for balance matchmaking and to try to ensure 50/50 wins and losses. If you have high MMR but are in Gold, you’ll play players of a higher quality to match yours and therefore win 50/50 games on average resulting in a slow or non existent climb. Please god explain to me why I’m wrong because I really want to be….
@@mightymuppetz Because it isn't unrelated, it just isn't perfectly married. If you look at every single Bronze player's MMR, almost all of them will fall within a pretty discernable range of MMRs. If you look at every single player near -2.0 MMR, almost all of them will be of similar public facing metal rank. I have no idea why you decided any of this will affect the speed of the climb, even if you are convinced that there literally isn't any relationship between public rank and MMR.
You can tell a lot of support players get really lucky with the ranking system and end up way above their play skill level. It really comes down to team positioning for successful support players and this guy was all over the place looked like a silver player to me.
If you can get lucky that consistently then it’s not luck. Maybe he played like a Silver player this game but he could play like a High Plat player another game. Everyone’s performances shift from game to game. And if he played someone other than Ana he probably would have done alot better.
He’s also playing against GMs. You would also look bad against people who are well above your skill range. It’s actually very hard to climb as a healer due to less carry potential.

Any plat teammates that get this guy on their team are in elo hell
"Two CP is better" You already Flats is gonna have a serious conversation with Jay3 after that comment lmao
This dude has many issues but imo the main ones are the sensitivity and hero pool, he should stick to 2 heroes max per role, playing ana in moira range was rough to watch
wtf Plat is a gift for this guy
Jay3 hates Dorado as much as I do. Awesome. I hate that map. The defense is SO much easier on last point than other maps, you have to go that extra mile for attacking. It's gross.
This man needs to aim. Almost every action on Ana was like going for some MLG flick shot.
nah he literally is barely a plat. diamond is a far stretch for this scrub. he's mid gold at best and that's being kind. More comfortable in like... Silvers. He had a streak bringing him to plat. nothing more.
The contenders vs gms? That's a very 6' 6" idea Jay! Proud of you little guy ❤️
When I was in Diamond, playing against Masters players was just a pacing and cooldown difference. Honestly, with the amount of smurfs in OW1 diamond and masters felt the same sometimes
I think I could hang in masters support lobbies. My biggest problem is my team mates not joining vc to hear my callouts .
I could do this challenge if Moria is actually viable in masters lol.
Just saw a Masters Moira main yesterday
As a masters Ana I would really hope that I don’t look like this.
Just ask of you hit sleeps and stand back if yes profit lol
Remember when being plat meant that you were HIGHER then average in OW?
He is closer to derank than masters.
I’m a junk rat main and hate having meis on my team because sometimes they completely blue ball a potential team kill
Man has gold sleepdarts and ask for diamond
Well since ranks are just for show now they dont matter or actually tell much about player anymore.
That contenders vs t500 sounds really cool
The C9 is hilarious love this series
Is he actually a plat support? He looks like he doesn’t heal often
? Looked like plat to me. Healed people around him decently but utterly clueless. When i play in anything lower than plat i play soldier to get healing.
Should this have been titled “This bronze…”
Notice that more often than not it's the supports that appear in these videos
He should be thankful to be in plat imo.
Never seen a Ana play so far in the tanks pocket. This game has taught me Ana positioning by what not to do might start playing Ana
I’m trying to do a mercy only run on comp and oh my god every match is hit or miss
literally you try to help and keep ur teammates alive but if ur playing with idiots, there’s nothing you can do
Ive been an ana main since ow 1 and only played alot more comp on ow2, only gold 3.... and after seeing this plat gameplay, boy i feel alot better with my ana
I’m curious on how they find the people to be the “odd one out”. I think it would be lots of fun to be the odd one out and I’m in bronze sooo
I feel for this guy. Tries to randomly play ana and kiriko on stream... when he is a mercy moira player... Definitely got a bit of a rude awakening to higher level play
How are people like this in plat, yet I'm hard stuck in silver to gold? I swear OW2 matchmaking and ranked progression is dog water.
Agreed
Bruh his Ana had me questioning how he was plat
I used to be like him and hard stuck gold, but had to learn the difference between support and healer. Just to get to plat
If you're stuck in silver, most likely, you're not as good as the guy you're watching right now. Trust me, if you are good enough, you'll climb throughout the season. Sometimes you're a skilled player but you lack game sense, positioning, and decision-making.
@@douglasn167 if you're a support main that only solo queues it is very possible to end up in elo hell. Only so much you can carry on support.
Day 2 of asking to get 5 people who think they’re in elo hell and to pin them against a team 2 ranks above them and spectate and see who’s throwing
Elo hell? Him being plat means he's been in elo heaven.
I even kept getting his cross hair lost. Can't imagine playing with that
I would like to see masters Vs gold, except the masters are muted and cannot communicate in any way, whilst the gold have full comms.
@@BigBabyBoo yeah, if he really deserves diamond, he should be carrying every game in sliver.
How did he even get to plat tbh
Watching this guy play Ana gave me stage 20 terminal pancreatic cancer
The cool down management of a goldfish
When you were in bronze for 4 years, these plat sufferings seem petty for you...
how is he not bronze
Because it says it in the title he's plat. How is it hard to read? Get out of here with your backseating.
You’re an idiot he’s saying the kids bad you idiot
@@jacobsotorios8886 I think he meant he dosent seem to play good enough to be plat. No need to be rude.
@@jacobsotorios8886 i think they mean he plays like a bronze player
@@BullenKullen he's in plat, this guy is being rude calling him bronze no? I've seen plat players worse than him
I guess he was nervous or something because I didn't see positioning or aim that was plat.
no quick scoping: red flag
Imma sub for that contenders vs Gm game
this guy makes me look good, and I was in bronze 5 very recently
in OW1 I was like 30SP from Masters away and I'm not humble just realistic, I would've had a hard time then. Just watch other top players.
If you can't comfortably switch to at least two other heros and don't communicate (or badly), you're Plat or low Diamond.
Nah this is a prank there is no way this guy is plat
I'm bronze and I'm fairly certain he's like the other bronze supports
Agreed. I'm bronze 3, on console, and I feel like I'm a better Ana and Moira than him. My Mercy sucks though, so maybe that's where me makes his living.
@@GeorgeElEmery no its called dunning kruger you are way worse than him
@@bobfaget100 no, it might not be dunning kruger effect. you didn't see his gameplay. he might be stuck bronze because he's unlucky. and it might be the opposite for this guy. He ain't bad but his gameplay seems gold to me.
ngl he plays like me and I'm (deserved) gold
Same
Next vid finna be "bronze thinks he deserves silver so we put him into a 1v1 with seagull"🤣
Elo hell exists. But if you are plat no way you gonna play with masters and look good.
So do the other players know who the thenlower elo person is? If so they kinda ruins it
bro please 5 plats that think they deserve master vs 5 masters
so this is what my healers are doing nice
you should do a mystery heroes tournment.
If this is my support in a PLAT lobby im instantly reporting him for a bought account.
Never mind diamond, I am surprised he made it to plat
note: this is constructive criticism. i don’t mean to hurt his or anyone else’s feelings.
as a plat ana player (who also has kiriko in top 3) i don’t believe he’s ready to move on yet. in fact, his playstyle on both ana and kiriko seem a bit too carefree. with ana, and it hurts my soul to see this, he used sleeps like they were regular bullets. his nades could’ve been used better and more often, since nades can boost heals and prevent heals for enemies, he could look for more nades to heal teammates efficiently, and antis to help his team push in when needed. he also BARELY used ads. this one specifically is a big and easy thing to fix. when you ads with ana, her bullets become hitscan, which means the bullets become instant. this means healing is instant, and damage is instant, when you hit your shots. this could really mean life or death for your team or an enemy, since projectile is not gonna be as efficient as hitscan since hitscan is instantaneous. I recommend watching a few vids for ana to help get the gist of her, and play plenty of games to practice new things and master old things. lastly, he used nano either when he was gonna die, or a teammate was, which benefits nobody. obviously, if the tank was the one who was critical, yeah that’s a great nano, but he used it on lucio (btw, this is why i use target confirmation.) which kinda did nothing for anyone honestly. and the one on winton when he died was a waste, winton didn’t do much with it (he really couldn’t tbh) but that’s just a few things i have to say as an ana main.
with kiriko, i didn’t see much positioning that benefitted both him and his team. he swift stepped and left the dva (which i understand, tough spot.) but then he didn’t LOS to heal dva when she was at critical. on top of this, ult was seen once and wasted, which didn’t help at all. also saw a few good cleanses but like koby said, that’s good for that moment. cooldowns and healing needed to be better in all honesty.
to be fair though, with practice he could be better. he also never said he belonged in masters lobbies. so i believe he can climb to diamond with a few improvements.
as a support player, this dude's cooldown usage piss me off lmao maybe its the nerves ? if so, i get it but maaaaan lol
1 out of like 20 of my kiriko ultimate just don't work like they never appear I think it's a bug
Is this only for PC players? I would love a chance on here.. I've been stuck in platinum, and as soon as o get close to diamond, I feel like OW finds players who are just throwing no matter what or dps that are good but don't understand positioning.
Context I'm a Moira main so people automatically feel like I'm just dosing when I'm trying to recharge lol
i dont play healer at ALL and i would still do better than this guy lmao
This guy played like a gold at BEST lol
It should be called silver vs masters
The blog the other day has changed our perception of Overwatch. People need to get ‘Ranks’ and ‘Elo-hell’ out of their mind. The rank is only cosmetic and does, in no way, reflect skill. Your MMR measures your skill yet you can’t see it. Competitive mode is now completely pointless and redundant. A bronze could have a higher MMR than a master.
That "could" is doing an awful lot of work in that sentence tho, no?
@@michaelmcgee8189 Have you read the blog? They literally confirmed that rank is not related to ability.
@@mightymuppetz nr tho lol
Im plat support and I would go crazy in a masters lobby
How do you find opportunities like this
hes a hard avoid
