The stem we used in the video is about 2 years old, but you can use older tree as well

Generally sunny weather with some rain will be the best, otherwise you have to water the plant yourself

Thank you for sharing the details in your video. Can you share your experience on how to ensure that the new shoots will not be blown down by strong wind. I was told that it would be better if you can join two or three shoots together to withstand the strong wind. Any way I can contact you. Thanks.

Yea that's also a common practice - having 2-3 shoots growing at the start then tie them up together for it to be stronger. This is suitable for areas with larger wind.
Alternatively, the method shown at 7:00 and 8:00 that should be ideal for avoiding wind for smaller wind.
