I understand they’re trying different things, but I wish they would Stick to the original system and improve on it and make several attachments and new products. I’ve always loved Dewalt, but my buddies all have Milwaukee and their system has a lot more to offer. It just feels like they’re throwing darts at a board to see which one will stick.

All too heavy by the time you have to carry them. I had loads of toughsystem and got rid, I use the festool boxes I had spare from power tools now instead. Festool boxes are the best because of the low weight and it being close to your body. I like drawer systems but it's just spending thousands for more dead weight in my opinion. The other issue with toughsystem is it's all wobble when stacked. No good in the van like that. I was thinking of having these as stationary boxes in the van but I can buy proper metal van vault big drawers for this kind of money and bolt everything down to the floor. I don't care what colour the tool is they are all asking too much money for their products that are often full of niggles and things which could be so much better so easily.l

I wonder if 1.0 can latch into the DXL

      With the adapter, probably.

@@ChristianJames559 I don’t think the adapter grabs the bottom of ToughSystem boxes, just T-Stak.

Can you fit a circular saw in the deep drawer

It really depends on the tool. The drawer is 145mm deep, so you might struggle to fit in a lot of your larger tools. - Dan

@@its Arghhh, it's a simple question. Can you fit a circular saw in the deep drawer? You're a tool store, try it and let us know. These boxes are crazy expensive. Can you imagine how angry a customer would be to take a chance, only to find that a normal, very common 18v circular saw won't even fit in the drawer?
The dimensions you have listed, are the same as everywhere, "External"...
So far, nobody at all, not even Dewalt themselves, has bothered to show what tools the deep drawers can actually hold, and the actual internal sizes!
Dewalt, and many others just keep on missing the one thing everybody wants, it's so obvious, but they too busy copying each other to do the right thing.
We want stacking drawers that can hold power tools, Ones that we don't have to unstack and restack. Once stacked, everything should be accessible from the front without the back-breaking task of unstacking everything! I've always hated this and wondered why no manufacturers have bothered to tackle such a simple problem.
Take the Tough System Drawers, and just make them so that a Circular saw can fit in them! Thats pretty much the biggest, most awkward shaped tool of all!
Everything else is basically shaped like a drill or a grinder. The Tough System 2.0 stacking boxes suck so bad. I hate owning them just because of how cumbersome it is to get anything in and out of them...

@@RichardWraith I agree that it has taken forever for stacking boxes to use drawers instead of needing to unstack to get access to the bottom goods. Milwaukee has their 8445 cabinet that Dewalt needs to copy. The biggest question I have about DXL is did Dewalt finally get rid of the slop and wobble between the boxes?
