I freaking love the Red, White and Blue color scheme on this thing. Red frame, White plastics and the perfect seat cover! Keep it up! 👊🏼
Nice shirt guy! Epic build!
@@KincadePavich Thank you!! And hey, your shirt has that perfect material it's hard not to wear it 👌
@@ChaseBuiltBikes you’ve been knighted by the king of Moto x rebuilds
@@samwood34 He is an absolute legend!
yo kindade! love ur vids man! just finished building my 2000 yz125, ive now built 3 bikes, and I got stared doing it all from watching ur videos
Dude that home oven set up is fabulous. Necessity is the mother of invention, nicely done
Epic DIY build! You crushed this. The color motif you chose is killer
@@legio35 thank you for that! All the different colors really made this build pop
That first fire up is how Ronnie Mac runs in a brand new engine, 69 minutes of full throttle and it's good to go.
@@rodjames9237 😂😂😂 and he rips so I think I'm gonna be okay
My heart sank for a second with that WOT first start 😂
@@jvke.p That makes two of us! 😂😂 Not how I was expecting that to go
@ChaseBuiltBikes mine did that aswell but I bought a bike that needed top end installed top end didn't check the rest of the bike over the bike had bar risers on it that made the bars sit way to high and pulled on the cable when the bars were off to the right. But didn't rev that high thankfully
Subscribed only because of the blast cabinet set up
Bike looks unreal I was skeptical with the red frame at first
My left ear is enjoying the video so far
Lesson learned on the mic setup! 😂 Wish I didn't make that mistake
That shock got a little excited lol
rough up the paint and use Citristrip it works really well and is cheap for paint removal. sometimes you have to let it sit over night at first
love bike builds just like this, hope your channel grows heaps you deserve it
Thank you very much! That comment means alot
Very nice work! Very resourceful dude!
@@williamwonders9265 thank you!
Love it chase. That thing is a beauty. You knocked it out of the park
Thank you! All the work was well worth it
Such a beautiful bike to waste on a track like fox valley 😂😂
Awesome build man, the bike came out amazing
Hey c'mon now I love fox valley 😂
Thank you very much!
Just for future reference, double clicking on the torque wrench is a no no. I’m sure someone has already screamed about it but just wanted to mention it 😅 other awesome build!!
@@Ljgreenwood you are the first one to mention it! I have never heard of that before. Might be why my torque wrench is out of spec 😅 but thank you!!
Amazing work! To the moon with your channel! 🚀
@@avalanx thank you!! To the moon we go!
Super clean build bro 🎉🎉
@@PeacefulMotoTrailz Thank you! I appreciate that.
17:50 oh baby yeaaa
beautiful build my guy and super satisfying vid💯
What do you do with these hot rods when they are fixed? Where do you sell them? I need a street bike. 😂
Nice build i love it i can see your hard work man good job
If you ever need to pull the spark plug, use an insulated pair of plyers.
Has thing on his mind as was going to find some insulated pliers 😂
Think that right hand KYB fork decal may be upside down. Sweet build though man
It is upside down...gonna be fixing that soon. Thank you!
Nice bike great job in the rebuild. I hope you put nitrogen in the rear shock.
Thank you! And the rear shock is charged with nitrogen, that was the one part of this build I had to outsource!
Super nice dude, you got yourself a new sub insane build!
Thank you! I appreciate the sub! I had a lot of fun on this build, and I've got the next one lined up!
@@ChaseBuiltBikes good to hear i’ll be looking forward to it!
I also learned alot of your video, i also do my own powdercoating and had a similar problem with oven size with the frame.
I’m currently working on a ktm exc 300 build but i’m not very good at making the video’s so i’m just building it for myself. Hoping it’s gonna turn out a bit like your yz 👌🏻
I had big issues with a motion pro cable on another bike too. Poor QC at times randomly.
@@AjackLee4 I thought It was off because I've always had amazing luck with motion pro after buying dozens of cables from them. I figured it was just a fluke. Interesting to see youve had problems as well. I ordered up another one and the new one was perfect.
@@ChaseBuiltBikes If I remember right it was the wrong cable twice for my '79 YZ400.
Done that my first time doing a top end lmao
Questions and concerns, where did you get your motor powdercoat from and what colors?....concerns.... no nitrogen in rear shock?
@@chrisroy1466 I got all my powders from Prismatic Powders, the bronze, is called OG Burnt Bronze, and for the blue/black areas the powder in Graphite Black.
As for the rear shock, I had taken it to a shop to get it filled with nitrogen
Wery nice build!! 👌 Who maked white gas tanks for these bikes?
@@NomHeads thank you! The white tank on this build is from Clarke Manufacturing
Great job boss little bogging but that’s a 125 always on the throttle.
Nice build!
Also nice DIY solutions haha
One thing to maybe improve: If you listen with headphones, I can hear your voice-over commentary only from the left side...
@@169hoi Thank you! I appreciate it. And certainly noted on the voiceover. I will have to get that fixed. Thank you for pointing that out since when I edit the videos, I'm using a speaker and not headphones.
same i though I broke my handset
Can a guy get those old noleen graphics anywhere? Those were sick.
I have a 1998 up on a raise stand begging for transformation.
@@michaelworley6241 The graphics on this bike are a custom set I designed on motocal, you start with a blank slate and can build anything you like!
What brand of spray paint did you use for the wheels? And how did it hold up?
@@fourtraxing7910 I used Rust-Oleum acrylic enamel, its been holding up okay so far. I've got about 7 hours ride time on the wheels. I don't have enough hours on them yet to see how they're truly holding up
With my experience in linkage bearings if u torch the hell out of the linkage itself and use pb blaster u can usually beat it out with a punch and hammer, not guaranteed to save the bolt but if your careful you can get away with chasing the threads
Nice overview!
@@smilingtulip8126 Thank you!
Stop showing the after photos before the video starts lile what is the point in that it ruins the video
That's how we know you ain't a mechanic. You have no appreciation for the PROCCESS.
Wher is rear shock bumper ?
did you forget the bump stop on shock ?
Yes I did, will be adding one soon.
Is that track at fox valley?
Yes it is!
Check out moto mafia he does the same thing
What frame tape is that?
@@stevenbitter9241 PrymeMX frame guards! I absolutely love them.
17:51 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Don’t waste money on old build.
I lost so much money. Should have just spent it on a newer bike.
How much to rebuild my ttr125 2006
@@RockySuset7155 It depends on what the condition of the cylinder and head is, if it just needs a top end (Piston, rings, gaskets) you'd be looking right around $100-200. Depending if you need cylinder and head work, it could be close to $500. It all depends how much much damage the engine has. Alot of those small bore 4 strokes offer rebuild kits that will include everything you need including a cylinder, for right around $400.
@@ChaseBuiltBikes it bogs down when I give it gas and I checked the carburetor
👊🔥
Don’t expect it too last long after that probably scar the cylinder and piston..
It did score the piston a bit.. it was a very unfortunate first start
