    Love that you can walk them in public. Mine are cuddle bugs but when they were a year old, we took ours hiking and a group of adults started being loud and running toward them. That spooked them and has been skiddish toward strangers ever since no matter what we did. So we decided to not continue to socialize them to the public only family and friends. It was more dramatic then helpful. Other then that, ours are the best sisters. Mine are 51% They are sisters. They are now 4 years old. They are the sweetest. No aggression problems, walks great on leash, listens very well. Wolfdogs do require a lot of training and positive reassurance while training.

    I Love your wolf babies. Y'all are awesome advocates. So. many people are uneducated to wolfdogs even to the point of being racist to wolves and wolfdogs. Thank you for your service and work with them. It's appreciated even way out here in Cherokee NC.

    I love they way they communicate. Watch the video few times and you will observe who is less or more interesting for them. Apparently they were uncomfortable in the place with echo. Cool buddies 😊

    Such beautiful animals 😍
    I am so jealous. I want to pet them too!
    Awesome socialization ❤
    I can certainly use some tips on that. I have a 2 year old male American Akita. He tolerates being around other people fine, but doesn't like strangers petting him.
    I get asked a lot but have to say no because he just doesn't like it.

      Some dogs just don’t. I had a stray mutt that was like that

    They are stunning!! I would love to share space with these majestic creatures. Is there any wolfiest wolfdog with doggiest behaviour that a beginner can handle? Did any wolfdog breed got to that point?

      Blue bay shepherds have. Just make sure you live in a legal area

    they did pretty well! I rescued a German Shepherd (possible low coywolf) and she is way too skiddish. I didnt have here when she was a pup though

      The little one was just 25% wolf but the big one 65% and we socialized him a whole lot

    Hi, do you allow your wolfdogs to sleep inside your house? Out of curiosity, how destructive is a mid-content (65 percent) dog inside?

    • @ruger8412
      @ruger8412 4 місяці тому

      Just watch some of the other videos & it will explain a lot. But no the average person can't train your average mid to high & even some lows to play nice inside. I believe they have a huge enclosure they keep their wolfdogs.

      Mine do great inside. When i first get them as pups ill put in medium sized area in the house with one of my other younger one that went thru this and we reward being lazy in the house so no tipping over things and running. They do like play laying and in small area. After awhile when they are inside they pretty much lay down and wanting to be pet which of course i do for hour and half. My one and my husky would be sleeping on the recliners i bought new for them when i either came home from work early or on time they would be like why are you home now. But if a bit late they would be by the door waiting to go potty.

    Is anyone else's male wolf dog trying to hump everything and anything right now? Mine turned 4 a couple months ago and all he wants to do is push and expand his boundaries and hump anything that moves. I know wolves go into heat between Jan and March but it was never this bad. He gets this look in his eyes like he just snorted an 8 ball then there is no stopping him.
