Oaksmith is good bt it gives hangover next morning, Macintosh is good alternative for OS.
Between oaksmith and mqntosh I will always prefer mqntosh. It’s far better than oaksmith in taste profile. Didn’t like Rockford but surely will try reserved this weekend. Piyo aur Jio

Manish ji, I recently came to know that there is a 'Maquintosh Blue Reserve'. Please do consider reviewing it. It is priced at Rs.2430 in Kolkata (as compared to the regular 'Maquintosh Silver' which is priced at Rs.1650 here).

In Delhi's weather, I prefer atleast 4 ice cubes, chilled water and bit of soda with my whisky so I don't miss beer too much..smoky whiskeys anyday over sweet ones...only Maqintosh i would take neat, it's awesome for the price

I love oaksmith and Rockford. I tried Rockford after seeing MB's review. Loved its taste
Manish bhai I felt oaksmith gold to be a very normal whisky. It was too watered down. Not much of taste. Blenders pride reserve collection has more flavours in it than oaksmith. Maybe as it was the first time I felt like that. Should try oaksmith silver.

Oaksmith and star walker are very difficult to find in rajasthan but I'll taste it soon any how.
You will never get Oaksmith in Rajasthan because on the bottle its boldly printed, "Not for sale in Rajasthan". I can send you a screenshot if you want.

100 Piper's 8yo is the best in this segment. I don't know why are you avoiding it
I didn't like it much m don't know why. I like the original 100 pipers though . But 8 years was nothing special.

No doubt Oaksmith gold is the smoothest whiskey in the price range, comparable to some budget scotch available in india. I've changed my go to brand to Oaksmith gold recently when it comes to budget whiskey.

I think tittle must have to be top 5 whiskies under 1000. As all are under 1000. My favorite is star walker. Never had chance to taste maquin or oaksmith yet 👍

Many a times I drink one peg of Macintosh after one peg of Oaksmith Gold.. It gives a good variety of smoky and sweet whiskey..
