I’ve never had these leak on me and i can’t say that about any other travel containers. Biggest bonus for me! Love these for everyday and travel. Especially for reapplying sunscreen. And as a rock climber i place my rings in here while i climb
They would not weigh as much if not for the magnets... So I guess that is their gimmick but I don't need containers that stick together or any metal in my kit.. I'd rather have a lower-cost, less weight container. I have used Nalgene since I used to "borrow" them from my biochem labs before they hit the mainstream retail markets. But just cuz it's not my thing doesn't mean I don't appreciate the video.. The more I watch reviews like these I cut down on my time and my local outfitters store! Cheers! PS If a car is running over my toiletry bag I've got bigger problems on that trip!
It's fun to test products and run them over with cars 😆 These aren't going to be right for everyone, especially if weight is important. Kind of overkill for most minimalist travelers. But the customization is fun and they probably have a place for the right type of traveler.
@@OneBagTravels definitely, to each their own.. I've seen pictures of my grandparents climbing mountains in gear that look like Sir Edmund Hillary's! The market is so vast now most of us can get exactly what we want. That's why I love your reviews. I go for the minimalist, no dividers bags and use various packing cubes for different trips. I notice a lot of comments say it's not their cup of tea because it doesn't have dividers!🤣
@@IntriguedLioness Definitely each to their own, for lots of people a dedicated laptop compartment or external water bottle pocket are a deal-breaker, everyone has their preference.
about half of my capsules began cracking or bulging on the bottom (they don’t sit flat anymore) after a few months. the company sent me some replacements but those are beginning to crack too. loved the idea but not worth the money
@@OneBagTravels i had not flown anywhere with them at that point. all of my trips were driving on the east coast so altitude changes should not have been a factor. it was quite disappointing
@@annalau3487 Mine have not had any issues. They still look new after months of use. They have only been on a plane four times, though. Maybe that has something to do with it?
@@johnmca5643 Me too! There are a few close ones, MEC and Cabin Zero have decent lightweight options, but none that size with hip belts. MEC Outpost is 35L @2.6 lbs. Closest may be the Cabin Zero Military 36, 2.2 lbs, with hip belt! Arcido Faroe is close, but no hip belt. Akra has a hip belt, but is >2lbs. 🤷♂️ The ultralight cottage industry hasn't really caught on with travel backpacks yet like it has with outdoor gear.

Good idea with the rings!

...and when not travelling the capsules work well as nuclear blast proof fridge magnets! Thanks for the insights.
Indestructable!

Oh wow. Was it from the pressure changes in airplanes or did it just do it on its own?

That makes me sad. I just discovered these and love them. I guess I'll see what happens in a few months.
@@veggirl1964 Hi, how did you cadence capsules hold up?

Yep.......to heavy for my taste.
But virtually indestructable!
@@OneBagTravels I'm still waiting for a nice 35L travel pack with hip belt for under 2lbs. I reached out to Zimmerbuilt and he won't make one.
