Even if you looked at it need wise, the Hawks have far more potential at D than the forward position. At two, in my mind, Levshunov has to be a slam dunk no- doubter. Beckett Sennekke is going to be the pick. 1st line potential, high ceiling. Can’t go wrong with that pick. If Lidstrom falls I can see him getting picked. Helenius would be kind of a reach reach for me. Brandsegg- Nygard is a big power forward in the likes of Hintz and Kempe if even take him top 10.
I think Catton would be the pick for Calgary if they don't get Tij ? They need someone who can put up a few points and Catton could be the guy to do it.

I wonder what it would take to get that pick, I think they would want Marky and more. Wonder if they would take Marky 50%retained and the 28th over all pick we got from Van for the 10th overall pick? That would do wonders for our rebuild/retool.

Can’t have predetermined mindset going in like last year. Take the best player available. I have a feeling they will go based off need this year with the quantity of picks. That never works out. Boston in the 2015 draft went off of playstyle and it blew up in their face.
