So in this Rust video I will show you how to use the Tesla Coil correctly and how to use them when setting up and building trap bases. I will even show you a few trap base designs viable for Rust console and Rust PC in 2021.
I have tried to make this video a beginner guide to Rust electrical circuits and explained how to complete the Rust electricity trap base designs from start to finish so you can follow along and do it yourself.
Its not just a Rust tips and tricks video, i will show you the other components that compliment the tesla coil perfectly like the memory cell or the HBHF sensor. Don't worry I will talk you through all of these too!

I had a thought, but it will take me a while to put all the pieces together.
You can rig up HBHF sensors, door switches etc so that you NEVER need to close your front door. In fact you’d purposely leave it open while you go off to farm or roam.
Use hbhf sensor to detect non authorised that have entered your base and set it so front door closes behind them when they are at the sweet spot. At the same time a garage door opens inside your base to expose a turret that will gun them down.
You come back from the farm and find yourself a nice kit hopefully :)

My base is huge only triangle foundation bunker with lots of turets around base ,on roof,first floor and in its core.
Now combined with this will have dooble protection everywhere,strong base and medium mobility with false entrance of your HBHF trap base 😂😂😂

to save electricity I recommend never supplying electricity to the coil directly. I prefer wiring the trigger to timer setup that starts a generator to runt he coil for a set number of seconds. You'll find that the amount of rust watts needed for this setup is low and ten second bursts use very little low grade to fire the coil at a full 35 rust watts.
Great video can you please do a video about using the receiver to hold the door open can close it. I play on pc and the door close automatically you can't keep them open like you can in PS5. Thanks again for the info

can you set it where it runs when detector is tripped? and or can you set it up where it will only run for 1 or two seconds each time its set off? and if its at minimum durability when its triggered it'll just run til it breaks?

Is that door controller wrongly programmed in whatever that tool is you're using? The passthrough connects to the output of the blocker...... This cannot be done ingame. Because it's Output to Output.
It is not working... i think there is a mistake because u cant connect the blockers in that order to the door controller. At least i cant... i tried for over 3 hours to fix it but i dont get it worked.

I'm having the problem that I can't connect multiple HBHF sensors up to one tesla system, because there are no combines... Except for root combines... But since those are not "root" power systems it won't work... Is there any simple solution that I'm not seeing...?
Just use 2 OR switched for sensors signal output, duh

@@the_scarecrow3143 if you use the output of the first OR switch as input for the second one and plug the third sensor in the second OR input all sensors activate 1 thing
The tesla coil powers on and starts to kill me even when i have no power hooked to it... I just hook up the floor pad switch and it starts working... i dont even have to stand on it... and im on an official server. its been like this for years for me.
Timer + HBHF Sensor would work best.
No need for the timer, it will just make the coil run even when the person left
@@jerem220 if the sensor loses sight of them then they may survive. Replaces the need for an AND switch, which I believe is a Tier 2 BP.
A timer of 10 seconds should work fine, depending on how much energy it's getting.
You could also use a HBHF sensor, timer, branch, and a memory cell.
Memory cell's inverted output goes to a door, which goes to the HBHF. The sensor toggles the "Set" on the Memory cell; the regular memory cell output goes to a branch which both powers and toggles a timer. The timer triggers the tesla coils.
There's lots of methods.

hmm, how would you use this to defend your base without triggering it yourself? I usually build 2x2s, theres really no room to NOT use yourself
thats the downside of a tiny base, could use it in an airlock.

Would use a double door as it closes quicker than a garage door they might get out
good shout. No chance of escaping a double door closing.
@@AniCodYT if you build another airlock and have two entrances put double door on them with s door controller and hpfs sensor. They walk up sensor opens double doors ( they think they going deep ) the walk in doors close behind. The double doors also act as a door airlock stopping anyone progressing unless the doors close. Garrentee to trap them
