For real I was going to give up because I could not get a base down in all stone leave for a farm run come back and be raided. A bit difficult to find scrap but he definitely made a big difference in my game play now. Do some, airfield runs working on getting the key cards now/ learning how to set up base defense also.
Need to test it sometime, but I though of using water sprinklers around the base in the snow biom because without standing around camprire you can't dry out and it is annoying.

Hey with the Tesla coil one my doors just keep opening and closing as soon as there is power, I’ve set it to exclude authorised, no one is nearby and they just don’t stop opening and closing

Thank you for the support and for sharing Shane. If I may ask, as a more experienced player, what kind of content would watch compared to content you would share for others? Examples like gameplay or specific tutorials?
I wish we could bait them with meat to trap bears/wolves or crops to trap boars. How cool would that be to come back from a roam and have a dead bear at your trap waiting with meat and low grade. Would definitely make them more useful and not just "exist." :)
Its so funny i killed an adim he came in my base flew in just came thru wall my shotgun flamthrowers handled him so i couldnt find him so i went to cameras and second camera i seen him flying away in mid air no copter he came back and told me he was admin and my base was lit up it still is it fools you alot of power alot going on dont come to my front door 2 turrets garage sensor only opens when up close u cant see my sensor 2 of the most powerfull guns in game filled with fire rounds
I would add that flame turrets can also be used to seal off a lot of bunkers. And that shotgun traps are good under jump ups. It's still a great vid as always tho :)
This video is so amazing oml, im still a bit of a newbie at rust but recently ive gotten a lit better. This morning i raided a base successfully all by myself thanks to your videos 👍
I did a challenge where I build a base, piss off groups, and use EVERY trap in my base as base defense, and the only thing I can do to personally defend is view and monitor the raid. I wasn’t allowed to fight back personally and I could only loot people when they die from my traps. It was actually super fun and I recommend the challenge to any UA-camr or rust player looking for a fun and interesting challenge. Have fun and happy trapping my friends! 🍻🫡

Does it damage you? Also try placing a pressure pad instead of the heart beat sensor so it only opens when someone stands on the pressure pad

Flame turret can destroy your wooden doors. Something to keep in mind. I saw a video of someone raiding a persons base with their own flame turrets.

Good old traps in Rust. I don't get people not using at least shotgun traps. It makes going deep so much more difficult.
Absolutely. So many times early on, people will lose their base because the enemy could just run straight in.
@@JfarrYT Before logging off I put over 10 shotgun traps and a flame turret + used all my scrap. Real tanky cave base.

How much damage does the bear trap do? (And does it actually work on bears?)
Looks like bear traps will deal 80 damage. So if you are fully healed it wouldn't be a 1 shot trap.
