My man's trying so hard not to upset the "singer" 😂 bro it's a literal robot 🤣 you couldn't have known of course. Honestly it's just impressive that vocaloid has gotten good enough to fool the casual listener. Yuyoyuppe's solo work is all vocaloid music, and a lot of it is pretty good. Really glad to see you checking out this EP because it deserves more attention. Thanks!
@@rantandchill9503actually nowaday with AI tech they can make voice scarily similar to real person, but this vocaloid is entirely machine and not really an AI, AI will need a lot voice sample from a real person tho.
That's our legendary Yuppe sama from making vocaloid rock metal songs along with UtsuP :D check out his for a sick boy and planetary suicide album ! too good !
Thank you for reviewing my favorite album at the moment. Been listening to Yuyo's music for 12 years starting with For A Sick Girl (he likes his sick girls haha) Great review man had fun watching and vibing with you
Yuyoyuppe is actually pronounced You - Yo - You - PAY He's a PHENOMENAL producer! He uses voice synthesizer programs VOCALOID and SYNTHESIZER V for most of his works, and sometimes he sings himself too. He's the frontman of his band Naked Identity Created by King (NICK), and also part of a musical spoken word poetry duo called KATARI (KAW-TAW-REE) with a popular anime voice actor. All the vocals you heard in the SICK EP are voiced by a synthesizer voice, Natsuki Karin (pronounced KAW-REEN) not a real person (and no, it's not AI generated LMAO) He dabbles in more than just metal as well, he produces all genres from EDM to Ballads too. He's written a few anime openings, some songs for VTubers, remixes video game music into lyrical compositions (Specifically from Kirby and Touhou Project) and I believe he plays a lil piano too, which can be heard in a lot of his tracks. It's always so fun to watch people discover him and enjoy some of his work. I've been a die-hard fan since 2012 and going strong, so these reactions make my day!!
if you wanna checkout more yuyoyuppe stuff you should check out his band Naked Identity Created by King / N.I.C.K he does the vocals on there (he just goes by yuppe on the credits) , and just from the way some of it sounds, he probably has a hand in the music production there. a lot of their stuff is a mix of metal and EDM, some of my favorites id recommend are Seed, Mary, Bad Trip, and Good Die. they also did a cover of one his older vocaloid songs, Story of Hope.
Finally someone who checks his latest EP! I've recommended it in the comments on some other channels but no one came back with a reaction. I think all of the tracks are great but the first two, Sick and Makka, are my favourites. I'm a little worried for all singers out there, because these vocaloids are quite impressive already and there will be a time when they sound as natural as anyone and will be able to do things no human can. I have a faint memory of BABYMETAL talking about AI or synthesized voices and the increasing importance of live shows for artists, or have I been dreaming? I think it was Moa who said something about it.
It popped up in my recommendations. I didn't believe that it was the same person and learned a bit more about BABYMETAL in a way. Yeah, the EP is pretty good. 👍
@@rantandchill9503 You can really hear his influence in Believing on their latest album. The music itself is quite similar to what we hear on this EP and they put a lot of vocal effects on Moa who for once got to sing many lines. I wonder how long he had been wanting to make this "vocaloid"-like song for BABYMETAL.
If you look for Megitsune remix version you can find it under another alter name called DJ Tekina remix, thou it was never been performed or released in an official BM album or single.
saying it feels like a placeholder for babymetal is so weird to me, i've always thought of him as a musician that produced for babymetal, rather than your take of babymetal's producer with his own material. this is one of my favorite albums of all time and tops anything by babymetal for me, even though i love the band. i get where you're coming from i guess but it just feels so backhanded lol

Hey, robots have feelings! Kidding of course. I didn't realize he was using the vocaloid in this.

Fooled me for months now. Found out here I guess. Thought is was humans
His old stuff from like 2012 is amazing.

Datte is a goddamn masterpiece. If you haven't already, check out the cover done by Mana.

There is a remix?
I knew there was a headbanger remix, but is there a megitsune one too?
@@monkut Yep, like i said is called Megitsune Tekina remix, DJ Tekina is another Yuyoyuppe's pseudonym.

I think coming to this as a babymetal fan gave me that perspective.
