- Have you ever gotten confused between French Reflexive and Non Reflexive Verbs? When is it a 'se' verb or not?
Watch as I reveal how certain NON REFLEXIVE verbs (prendre, aller, mettre, attendre...) have different meaning to the REFLEXIVE verb version: se prendre, s'en aller, se mettre, s'attendre.
For example:
- prendre (to take) / se prendre à (to lash out)
- aller (to go) / s'en aller (to leave)
- mettre (to put) / se mettre à (to start)
It's easy to miss the reflexive pronoun when you're listening to French sentences so listen and take notes so you can avoid confusing these verb pairs!

Let me know which of these pairs are the most confusing and practice with your own examples below!
J' ai bien compris ce que vous avez expliqué. Mais je vous demande que comment on memoire tous les verbes non reflexive.
Ou
Comment on peux faire la différence avec eux.
Hélas il n’y a pas de règles pour différencier les verbes pronominaux et non pronominaux. C’est comme les noms qui sont parfois masculin ou féminin.
C’est important de noter si c’est un verbe « se » dès qu’on le mémorise :)
can you tell some words which are similar in English and French but meaning are different pls
A good idea for another video. Pourquoi pas! :)
S'enlever is not reflexive? Ca s'enlève facilement. It removes itself easily. Tandis que je l'ai enlevé moi-même car c'était brisé?
