Howdy! You got the small shop blues. Video was good and interesting. Not sure if you did the pour deliberately on the melamine or not. I think you’re a smart guy and actually did it deliberately to get the comments.😂. Either way it turned out very nice. Watch out for that sharp corner. Probably going to cut your leg!😂😂. All jokes aside I understand your frustration on that epoxy. Not one UA-cam video maker hasn’t had problems like what you had. They have the ability to edit it. If they don’t than they are liars. Even pros make mistakes and from here on if you do another you will learn from it. Great job hanging in there and not giving in on the project!!
it was a dumb idea to think a cheap spray mold release would be good enough, it was my first big epoxy project so it was a huge painful learning curve.
Hey there! I love the comedy and here are some tips: Almost all expoy table makers use either or both of these: Tyvek tape over the melamine sheet and mould release sprayed either on top of the Tyvek tape or on the melamine (and don't go cheap on the spray!) It will save you hours and hours of chiseling away the melamine and your sanity. Cheers!
Keep them coming! 🤣
Will do!!
Try using mold release next time. Oh yeah, there won’t be a next time right?
Anything that helps I'll try!
