😂😂 a can cause it's a can, a bag cause it's a bag, a brick cause it's a brick 😂😂 dude you are hilarious! I was thinking, you could throw a couple of magnets in the can too to hold the bag down, just a thought. Love your videos, keep up the great work and stay safe.💯😁
DIY Canvac!
Next step: DIY Canvac!
I'm working on it!! I'm testing the DeWalt Stealthsonic vacs next and if they are as quiet as they say I'm going to rip the motors out of two and see if I can make one!
Hilarious 😂 as always, entertaining and informative
Glad you enjoyed it
Wood magazine March issue youtube videos. Has a cart set up using a barrel and three separators and two bucket vacs. Love the info. It helps other makers and problem solving with ideas and motivation. God bless and keep thinking outside of the box!!!
That barrel is going to be hard to clean out, you can do it with a 32 gallon trash can. I used the 32 gallon years ago when I had my workshop made life so much easier.
Agreed, the 55 gallon is a bit of a pain but I wanted to push the limit of what was possible.
Your dramatization looks all too familiar 😂😂😂
I have a full sized dust separator (Grizzly 1250 CFM with Oneida Super Dust Deputy XL - 6" main shop line), but had the same essential issue with how to get rid of what it collects. I went with a pair of 20 gallon drums with plenty of capacity, but still permits me to carry it outside to empty. I swap them when needed and no bags to mess with. I looked at a 55 gallon drum, but they are just too big to handle when full... bag or no bag.
I was going to test a smaller drum 20-30 gallon but decided to go with the 55 just to test the extreme end. I was able to fill it up but had to take about a third of it out just to pick up the bag. I think 20-25 gallon is about the ideal size for large capacity and still have the ability to empty.
Hose seizes are different. 2 and 2 1/2 or 3??
