I'm Using Ring Central, connecting this directly to my pc. Only concern is that I haven't found a way to aswer a call by pressing on the headset button, rather than on the screen. Plo headsets allowed us to do that.
You want to download Yealink USB Connect and in your RingCentral audio settings there's a setting that should say "Use headset control buttons to answer, end, and mute phone calls". Make sure your Yealink headset is set to default.
Hi, I'm having trouble connecting the headset with our new SIP T46U Yealink phones. It is supposed to be compatible. We don't need teams or to connect to PC - just the desk phone. We can't answer the phone by pushing the answer button on the headset. Anything I need to do to trouble shoot?
I have a T46G desk phones that needs to connect to a WH62 mono and WH63. I understand now that they are not compatible, but is there an adapter that can be used to make them compatible? I see the EHS36 and EHS61 say they are compatible but I’d like to confirm it before I waste any more money. Thanks!

Is the WH63 compatible with the AT&T ML17929 2-Line Corded Telephone? I'm looking for a new phone with USB but the images of it don't show what ports it has. Thanks!
First start but updating your headset in Yealink usb connect. Second, make sure your phone firmware is version 86 or above. If you’re not able to check or update the firmware, check with your phone system provider. Let us know if this helps!
So I bought this headset because the description provided said it was compatible with my Yealink T42S but I have not been able to get it to connect. Any suggestions?? I used the USB port on the back of the phone but the light does not come on the headset. I tried to figure out the blue tooth but have not been able to figure out that one either. I do have a dogle I used on a previous headset for blue tooth and tried to use that to pair but I havent been able to figure out how to make the headset go into pairing mode. Help!! I like the feel of the headset and really dont want to send it back.

Got new Yealink WH63, worked well with my Yealink MP56 for a week until I turned off my laptop. Headset won't work when I turned my laptop back on (didn't change any settings). The dock and headset lights are on., Headset is not muted but calls would not transfer to the headset?
I installed "Yealink USB connect" and my headset base teams button is still off. It doesn't bring teams to the forefront, and it doesn't turn on when I'm on a teams call. Already checked the firmware, restarted the PC, but nothing. Any clue?
Hi Deb, make sure to check your phone firmware to ensure it's version 86 or above. If it's below version 86, then an update of the phone should fix this. Your phone system admin or phone system provider can help with an update. How to know firmware version of your Yealink phone: Open "Menu" or "Setting" -> "Status" (->"General") and find "Firmware: xx.86.x.xx" as v86
Unfortunately not with this phone. You'd need a different Yealink phone like a Yealink T42S for example, or you'd need to get a different compatible headset for this feature.
Hi Vladimir, yes this model needs the charging base for it to work. Yealink has a new model coming out called WH63 Portable which will be for computer only that uses a USB Dongle, with no need to have a charging base.
