Markbass brand is a rip off! Junk!... This brand is dead to me! My Minimark just died in less than 30 hours use...out of warantee.. $350 repair! Factory service said this is not uncommon for the power board to just die.. NEVER AGAIN!
Hi. I'm about to reach to this conclusion. Though what's the alternative? I really like the sound Any recommendations? Btw I have cmd 121h and volume And gain knob are distorting while I'm turning them, and most of the time it sound badly distorted, but I can handle it briefly.
Yes and no. 2 unique things about the Markbass speakers are that they are Neo (lightweight) and have a kind of mid focused sound that you associate with Markbass. I'd never dream of dropping in a heavy speaker in one of those cabs and probably would want to find a speaker with similar acoustic properties. There just aren't a lot of choices that fit the bill.
I hate the speakers in markbass. They always end up with a high-pitch rattle from the cone area. The woofer still emits bass but who wants bass with a high pitch rattle.

This video is quite useful. I have a 10" speaker that is buzzing in my 102p and I'm frustrated at how difficult it's been to get a replacement.

Those speakers suck. I replaced a few of mine with eminence and celestian. Sounded way better than the MB original and they didn’t blow again.
Euphoric audio was all over the light weight amps about 20 yrs ago. And a far superior product to mark bass

I think any other good neo bass speaker 12 inch , 400 watts , 8 ohm will work.
