THICK and FAT vintage bass tone from a guitar amp? Boss Katana with Washburn RB-2002 Hammerhead

Demo of a great bass tone I found by accident. It's that sort of 70's Acoustic, Sun or maybe Ampeg tone that is just low and thick. The Boss Katana is set for an edge of breakup tone that barely distorts when you hit it really hard with a guitar with humbuckers. The bass on the amp is kranked to 10 but a lot of what you hear is the compressor being cranked. The bass itself is playing a pretty large role in the tone. I'm playing the single coil in this demo with the bass cranked and the treble completely cut. The bass high a very high active output that is a little too much for the poor little guitar amp, so we're getting some more distortion on the amp from that. The strings are some fairly dead Jim Dunlop roundwounds.
