    It is very hard to believe that a human being can be like this to another human being. Just so hard to wrap your head around. I've hated someone so hard before that I thought my own eyeballs were gonna pop out of my own head but I could never do something even remotely close to this. I just hurt myself by letting that hatred eat me up but this guy wasn't even driven by hatred (or at least it don't portray it that way) so I just can't imagine how it happens.

I hate it when someone tries to find a psychological/upbringing factor involved in these monsters. An horrific story. One of the worst I have listened to.
    I am bound to say however, that regretably there are many more children who are abused, but grow up to be successful and valued members of society, so one might ask if is it a question of choice, or is some 'bad wiring' at birth responsible. If the experts don't know, then I certainly don't.
    We are all so grateful to these 'experts' for their insight into the past and present of these monsters; but tell me.... After all their deliberations, is there any chance they might actually PREVENT a crime, instead of waffling on after the fait accompli ? If not, then they aren't much use are they?

    • @bruggeman672
      @bruggeman672 Рік тому

      @babavee100 and how do you propose to do that? Perhaps keeping millions of people desperate and on the verge of losing everything living paycheck to paycheck isn't the best way to create a healthy well adjusted population. What you've suggested is arresting people for crimes they have yet to commit... Would you like to be arrested for something someone else claims you will do eventually? If not how can you suggest doing it to others?

    • @babavee100
      @babavee100 Рік тому

      @@bruggeman672 No didn't..! In fact I am an avocat for NOT arresting people for what they MIGHT do,.. My point was, that these 'experts' do not contribute to preventing crimes.. and only there to analyse affer the fact. Once the judicial procedure deems someone guilty, then it is rather easy to pontificate about why they did it, rather than prevent them from doing it, which is a useless attribute and doesn't need the prefix of professor or doctor, or psychologist.
      It is the painstaking work of the forensic scientists and the police, and the courts who bring these folks to justice.
      Little help if these experts explain why they did it, because AS I SAID .;you can't arrest someone for what they MIGHT do and thank goodness for that !
      Dear God... ! Read the comments carefully before you offer a gobbledegook reaction. MY gripe was against the 'experts' and their paid, useless performance for the telly, in telling us something we already know, once the perpertrator has been found guilty.

    I enjoy this show, but it is not well researched. According to the textbook definition, Arkwright was not a serial killer, as his crimes were committed in the span of a few days. A serial killer is defined as a person who kills three or more people with a cooling off period between kills. As Arkwright had no cooling off period, he was not a serial killer, and is not listed as such in anything that I have read. I am surprised that trained Criminologists would refer to him as a serial killer.

      _Is this more Christian fairy tails?_

      @@chndlr18 Again, I'm not apart of the Christian religion. I don't agree with far too much of it.
      I also have some bad news for you. Since your comments implied that you hold to an atheistic worldview. Here it is.
      In the theism/atheism dichotomy, its the theistic worldview that is internally coherent. Not the atheistic worldview. The atheistic model of reality has no very first principle of any ultimacy. NO metaphysical primary category. That means a skeptic will not be able to account for that their model of reality has intelligibility. Due to how the skeptic has no ultimate source of dependent facts to appeal to. Whereas a theist doesn't have that problem. God basically defined on classical theism, means that a theist has a very first principle, of a divine ultimacy of reality for grounding the viability and intelligibility of all the general facts that we know.
      That's why I'm not an atheist.

    It's insane that they arrested him for burglary, then let him go with a court date after he murdered 3 people so he could go on to murder one more.
    The police seriously dropped the ball on this one.

    Are British cops homicide cops just stupid or what. So the guy was in custody and they find a dead neighbor and automatically oh it has to be another killer out then and not well he could have easily killed the guy and no one immediately missed the dead guy snd Arkwright then gets picked up and put in jail ,so what's so hard about killing someone then getting thrown in jail after killing the guy only to find him days later dead,, and the yorkshire ripper, Sutcliffe should have been picked up and charged about after his 9th murder but the silly cops couldn't get their shit together and didn't follow through with any leads like the tires like the photo fit pictures the Gap in the tooth bite mark the damn boots had they looked around Sutcliffe house n picked up his boots took a picture of his Gap teeth and compared his frighjn face to the photo fits and they had their man even the 5 bucks led back to the guy, like what did the cops need ffs to catch Sutcliffe slicing one of them open or smashing the women In the head with the hammer right in front of them in order for them to arrest the guy, I mean look at him it's the poster of like 20 photo fit pictures of Sutcliffe for God Sake ,I mean the Head guy Oldfield stopping all lines of investigation to go solely after a Jordie guy all over a hoax tape and letters. Like ok go thst route to but don't cut off all other leads and suspects I was freaking out watching one documentary because the old guy Oldfield totally fucked investigation right up by taking it way too personal I would have demanded he step down if I were Lapteau I think it's spelled because he had the ripper in his sights and knew Sutcliffe was their man but was humiliate by Oldfield for what for doing a great investigation and zeroing in on the right guy only to be told he didn't sound lkke a jordie so right there Oldfield should have Been told ok your getting way too out of hand and cost 3 women's lives ,,becsuse of his actions and attitude plain and simple
