This year the 2023 IPSC HANDGUN Nationals was held in South Australia at the Adelaide Pistol and Shooting Club. I shot these nationals with my CZ Shadow 2 Orange and ended up with a great result.
1st Master Grade in Production
2nd Overall Production with 90.07 % of the Winner James Phegan.
At this year's IPSC HANDGUN Nationals, I also met a new Production shooter who almost beat me for second place, Alberto Lopez from Victoria. Alberto ended up with 89.16% and third place.
The 2023 IPSC HANDGUN NATIONALS - SA had a teams category, in which our QLD Team, Azza Turner, Richard Dupuy and Brad Berlin, came second to the NSW team who did very well overall. NSW Team was Josh Kelly, Mark Kissin and Ewan Roy who all managed to shoot Master Grade scores at this IPSC Nationals.
Out of the top ten shooters at the
2023 IPSC HANDGUN NATIONALS, 8 of them were using CZ Shadow 2 pistols and 16 of the top 20 were using CZ SHADOW 2 pistols. Other pistols used were 2 x Tanfoglio, Phenix and Glock.
I know for a fact that three of us using Shadow 2's were using a CZ Shadow 2 Orange.
I had no malfunctions this year my Pistolup ran perfectly. I run a 10lb recoil spring, +10 trigger spring, 9lb main spring reduced mag and trigger bar springs, eemanntech Brass ultimate trigger and Armanov base pads and grips.

Great result mate. Are you shooting the tigersharks? What load are you using? I've found the 123gr hollow point with 3.8gr of aps450 pretty accurate out of my S2O.

Thanks mate. I am using 123grn TGRSRK infront of 4.3grns AP70. Very accurate, I wish they still made it. AP50 was also very good but I like the snappy feel of AP70 and power Pistol.
