we used to absolutely slay largemouth bass with yozuri cranks in baby bass or shad pattern on my home lake. shallow and medium divers around docks and swap to a deep diver or suspending jerkbait on points. reliable patterns every year for us. YoZuri makes a really nice plug.
Really enjoying these short and fun trout videos. I would be interested in seeing how you eat them, maybe just a short clip at the end for some food inspiration. Nice job
I have trolled these lures for many years for rainbow trout in many California lakes from Mamouth to Orange County. Best local rainbow trout lures I have ever trolled so far. I have also caught a good number of brown trout with them.
I always very much enjoy and look forward to all your very fine, well edited videos. But I look to learn something from them to make me a better fisher. It seemed like all lures caught fish. Why do you use spin vs. level wind reels when trolling. Gear noise? Ha Ha. It's amazing how tech gear has changed your kayak fishing from paddling, peddle pumping, to pushing buttons for everything. I would be interested in your time lines (times) from gearing up for your next day to actually getting your (or my) kayak in the water and after fishing heading to back HOME. You are super efficient at all aspects of gearing up to go fishing, fishing and leaving water to head back HOME!
I did, its a game changer in the rivers for me. Jackall tricoroll is for sure a go to. N the smaller duo ryuki spearheads. Those are actually made for trout fishing
I think you need a lanyard phone case. Watching your videos and the anxiety I have for you looking for a place to put your phone or in your pocket before either the fish comes off our the phone drops in the water. Great videos though!
You should release the small ones. EB Parks plants lassens 2 lbs and heavier. The key to succesfully fishing this lake is the skill to catch the larger fish and release the small ones you kept. Go try other Yozuri lures that the larger fish will hit.
They’re stock fish, scheduled to be stock pretty consistent so I don’t think it would hurt the populations. As long as he’s within the regulations I don’t see the problem
Tiny crap hole of a so called lake.. went Sunday.. 8 kayaks and 3 bass boats .. all crisscrossing each other for dumb planted trout.. and shorelines closed off.. on both sides , still charge full price..barely anywhere to throw a line.. joke place to fish.. video makes it look bigger, waste
Great little challenge. You caught some really nice stockers. Gave me some ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the lure tips. You could see the wind racing across the lake. Mission accomplished, again. 👍

Some very bright colors, and any time you break or dull the hooks you can restore them with some Gamakatsus 😆

Another great video. Makes me want to try fishing again.

You will love the YoZuris in salt water, too! They are great down here in Southern CA
Can't wait!
Another great video from Short Round Mahomes
Those Pins minnows are amazing for trout, bass, and walleye too!
Wish we had walleyes out here! Heard they are great eating!
Very nice trout.
Nice looking trout. You got there, boss...👍

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll add the responses to future videos!
I would be curious to see how thise lures work at Berryessa for those big Eagle lake trout.
Me too!
great video. I used to love fishig that lake.
Great vid man! Got me wanting to change out my spoons and try some hard baits for trout

You should!
What strain of rainbows are they? Eagle Lake?
Is that Shadow Cliffs? The warning signs scared me away when I went to scout for recreational kayaking.
sshhhhh 🤫🤫🤫
Have you ever fallen off you kayak before? I would like to see a video on how you get back on. Of course while you're in shallow water.
Nice video!
What lb line are you running? Do you tie directly to the lure or have a quick swivel to keep changing out?
Brown and white J-7 Rapala! Blue and white J-7 jointed Rapala
Without a line counter reel, how far do you put The lure behind the kayak while trolling?
🔥🔥🔥
Pin's minnow has been one of my best kept trout secrets for years now.

Great videos though!
Are you at Shadow cliffs? - I grew up on that water
Are you keeping fish @ shadow cliff. There is a danger advisory for algae .
How fast are you typically trolling these lures?
"The video is super top-notch, I just can't take my eyes off of it!"
I find trolling speed 2.2mph to get good action on pin minnow . What’s your speed? Just want to confirm.
Love your freshwater fishing!
Joe's flies work great also, super duper, small to large sizes
How do you rig those lures?
What do you do with all your trout? Personally not a huge fan of their flavor so I mainly CnR.
I smoke all the beautiful Lassen rainbows from bay area lakes….nice red meat inside…everyone loves it!
Dude nice fun inspiring video! But where are you?
Try a lure called a Tassie devil Adam, Australian lure maker.
I've tried those too! Cool lures
Good trolling ..was the meat white ....and are you marking schools on your graph 👊
What lake
How deep do the lures go when you troll them like that?
the ocean is my home too,,,
u should show us ur trout cooking techniques!!!!!!
💞Wow💛💛💛💛💜💛💛
Yo, you should try to use space bugs, plllssss
man I used to work there for years, never saw the appeal of dudes who brought bass boats to the small lake

None of the ones caught in this video are DFG's, those are generally less than a foot long and fairly skinny.
My. Lassen trout probably
Adam makes it look toooo easy
When you get bites like that and not hooking up slow down the speed just a tad bit!
3rd
Where are they manufactured?
Did this kids professors teach him to diss AMERICANS

which lake? Shadow cliffs?
On the suburban lakes, you will have a much better experience if you can go fishing on a weekday
