I troll Yo-Zuri lures from my kayak all the time down here in the ocean in SoCal. Very effective for calico and barred sand bass, and I've caught halibut and white sea bass on them, too. They make colors that look like mackerel and sardines and they are really effective. Good choice!
I've been using Zuri pin minnows for largemouth bass for years. Great bait. Nice video. Spawn is getting ready to start in VA. We have been killing the crappie. Keep fishing brother.
I noticed that the pink backed plug had an opalescent look on the sides. And my experience with that color has been successful with salmon and trout! But it’s usually my flasher with the opalescent and my hoochies I use with an opalescent skirt inside a white or chartreuse hoochie. Thanks for the change of pace! Oh one more tip, if you want to keep trolling while you fight your fish you might want to try going in a wide circle with your trolling line on the outside while you fight your fish in the middle so you have less of a chance of loosing the hooked fish and you stay in the general area where the school of trout or salmon are cruising. Thanks!
Awesome video Adam, when do you plan on making some surf perch videos? Those are my fav, I look forward to your catch and cook vids for those perch as well.
Those girl scout cookies hit different when fishing. Great video, been a while since you went out for trout, try out Lake Amador one day, hopefully try and catch one of their 20lbers that they stock.
Adam, thanks for another excellent video. With Philosophy D announcing, he is leaving UA-cam, it makes me appreciative of the fact you are still grinding it out. I met Hook to Cook and Benjie Kim at the PCS show last week, I hope you make it down sometime also.
Bro that's my combo also (something fire tiger #1, Something pink #2). Just put a piece of shoepeg corn soaked in pro-cure kokanee special on that back treble to increase your hook rate ;)
Lol i bet you are still stoked catching that trout in pyramid with that spoon huh. Did you go to the diner the only one at pyramid. There's a chart on the wall that says you can't brag inside the establishment unless your fish is 8lb minimum lol
Hey Adam , I know exactly where your at 😮 but I’ll never disclose 😁, I got to get over there soon and throw a savage for some double digits 😉, I think you know what I’m referring to 🤫
Caution - I think I remember reading in the regs that it is illegal to keep trout in a live condition in or attached to a boat. Wonder if kayaks are considered boats. Just FYI.
That was a blast! Reminds me of fishing Miramar Resivor San Diego County in the 60s with Rapala style lures
Well done Adam! It’s always a good day when you limit out. Thank you for sharing your set up as well. Hope you figure out the motor situation.
Nice day at the lake Adam !🎣miss the Bay Area lakes. My favorite one was San Pablo dam res! Great video & tight lines from Texas 👍🏻🎣
Man if I knew you were going to be in Pleasanton I would have loved to come out and say hi. At least it looks like S.C.

Adam, those are some good-sized trout! The lures are definitely working. ❤

I love fishing that lake. I only shore fish because I don’t have a kayak or boat. Do you know about any cheap ones that work well?
whats the model/brand of the kayak being using?
Great content. I like watching your videos. I can’t find the sinking lure’s you were using. I see the floating one’s.

Awesome video, Short Round Mahomes. You caught that fish and you weren’t even on your phone updating social media.
Adam

Pink is a very popular color for rainbows in my area
One question I want to start kayak fishing but do you need to register your kayak if it has a motor? In California
Yes
If you ever get a chance, do a video on how you transport you kayak
Nice work! 👊
And just like that... sold out everywhere sinking model 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Lol i bet you are still stoked catching that trout in pyramid with that spoon huh. Did you go to the diner the only one at pyramid. There's a chart on the wall that says you can't brag inside the establishment unless your fish is 8lb minimum lol
Making it look easy 🎣 I've only landed one trout this season so far 💀
Nice video looks like a good time!!!!
