New sub. Nice slabs!!!! This is what I've been doing all winter and it has produced some nice slabs for me as well!!! Hair jig or jig with soft plastic (Bobby Garland or Crappie Magnet) under a float. The ponds I fish are usually pretty stained/muddy (maybe a foot visibility) so I tip the jigs with the Berkley Crappie Nibbles and it has helped get more bites in that cold, muddy water.

Thanks for the sub! I definitely love them Bobby Garlands they work on many different species of fish. I used to use the crappie nibbles a long time ago but haven’t in a while, I may try that next time the bite is slow.

Thanks bro! I know it the bite was on fire that day I’d never caught that many crappie before. I turned back anything under 10 inches in hope they’d grow up into monsters but there had to be 1000 crappie staged up in that one cove on all that brush. 😂
