Thanks for the video Kathleen. The curry dish looks perfect for a cold snowy day. When I buy a bag of onions I dice them up right away & put them in the freezer. So nice of you to feed the birds & the squirrels 😊
Curry dishes are my favorite. I usually like it best with chicken, but now I think I may try it with the pork. The pots and pans set is really cute! Thanks for sharing your projects!
Your videos are a wonderful diversion from the craziness. I appreciate your time and effort to make them. I think you're going to enjoy watching the birds and squirrels at your new feeder. They can be entertaining. I have never made curry, but you explained the process well. I just might try it. A few years ago, we moved from a larger home to our little retirement house. My new kitchen is very small, but I love it. When I finally got the courage to give away about half of my stuff, I started feeling freer. I've done the same thing with my clothing. I think you might be able to make some really interesting videos of that process.
I've already given so much to my daughter. I quit asking her if she wants my stuff because she really doesn't need more junk. I don't know how we accumulate so much! Thanks for watching and I'll keep the video idea in mind.
Hi Kathleen! I enjoy your videos. I make the same curry dish except I use tofu instead of meat. I love it so much served over rice. I feed birds and have done so for years. I live in Georgia and we have plenty of different types of birds all year long. Right now the bluebirds are very active. We also put out suet cakes. We only use black oil sunflower seeds because these birds throw out everything but those and that draws undesirable rodents. Walmart sells 40 lb bags of black oil sunflower seeds for 19.98. An excellent deal. You have mentioned you like to stay busy. I do, too, and am also retired. I have recently started sewing again after many years and absolutely love it. I have made two quilts and learned how to do so on UA-cam. I also sew pot holders and other things. Do you know how to sew? I look forward to your next video. 😁
Unfortunately I didn't get the sewing gene from my mom. She used to sew our clothes, curtains, etc... I can sew by hand but me and sewing machines don't get along. I have sewn a few things, like an invisabilty cloak for my son, who was a Harry Potter fan, well, we all are. I read the first few books to both my kids. I also made my daughter a little pink velvet dress, which soon started coming apart. Even then material seemed to be super expensive back then. I used to do ceramics and crochet when I was in my 20s but then what do you do with all the stuff you make and no one wants it? I may pick up crocheting again just to make some dish rags, though. I have two I use to wash dishes with that I bought at a little gift shop in Midway, KY five or six years ago. I really like them, I don't buy scrub pads anymore.
I watch a lot of UA-cam sitting around at work ( watching cement harden .....no joke ) , and I just wanted to say that there is a human / honest quality to your videos , that makes them most enjoyable . I hope you keep making them .
Hi Kathleen! That was great seeing your granddogs 😊. I love dogs. I wonder if you could use some wood glue in those cracks? I know nothing about building though LOL. I need to show you a messy room, though, because that room wasn't what I'd call a mess 😂 It looks so cold in KY!!!
I would definitely try the wood glue route especially if you can clamp it while it dries. I have seen that curry for years but never tried it. I will try it the next time I go to the store!!
I am enjoying and watching your videos. I am trying to get started but having a difficult time with the technical stuff,Looks like you are getting the hang of it.
That curry looks delish. Never had that kind before. Curry I make is Thai style that uses a curry paste with coconut milk base. Hope you’re staying warm!
Thank you for the curry recipe, Kathleen! Yummy! I've had a box of the Golden Curry for quite some time, but didn't really know what to do with it. Mine is 'Medium Hot' so I am hoping it isn't too spicy. I'm hoping to make curry sometime this up-coming week thanks to you! Blessings from the good old North (Canada).
When I have potatoes that need used or leftover mashed potatoes, I make potato salad. I've never seen the curry product you showed. I found it on Amazon and look forward to trying something new. I'm 68 and I have my Moms Revere Ware. I love it and it's outlasted every other cookware I've purchased. It'll probably outlast me! lol I enjoy your videos. xo
Kathleen, I saw the video you posted of Christmas lights and my granddaughter recognized the town of Versailles, it made me so happy. I know you said you live in Central KY and that the post was a town near you. We live in Richmond. I would love to meet you but I'm not sure if that's appropriate. We have a lot in common but I do see some differences. I don't use social media other than UA-cam but if you want to connect with me let me know.
Hi neighbor! Don't know about meeting. I have met internet "friends" in the past but after many years of talking to them. I'm not an outgoing person, pretty awkward in social situations, which I think you can tell by my videos lol.
I do still buy Canola oil if I'm frying something like fried, breaded oysters due to the cost of using avacado oil or olive oil for that. Will probably use it to fry the potato croquettes I'm going to make today.
Well,I bought a new bedframe for my Christmas present. When I dragged it in the house and opened it,I immediately saw the pieces were numbered. Then I saw piece number 58! I closed that box asap. Now it's in the corner of my bedroom, I'm trying to get motivated, but it just isn't happening. Ugh...
We get our bird seed at Tractor and Supply. They have the best prices we've found. A large 40lb bag is around 22. My husband picks it up so the prices could have changed. I don't think he would mention it unless it was drastic. They do have occasional sales. Your going to find that feeding our backyard friends is an expensive hobby, but worth it.

You can use leftover mashed potatoes on top of cottage pie. You have more snow than we do in Wisconsin. Great video.

I didn't show you the whole room lol. Apparently it's 40 now but feels like 33 F.

Sounds good! I am semi-warm, thanks.

You are welcome! Let me know if you like it. It'll warm you up for sure.
The room looks fine. Glad you put the stand on!!!!
Oh, are you the person who told me to put it on? If so, then thank you for suggesting it.

Love the golden curry brand. Packaged well
Looks delish!😊
The curry looks fantastic.

We feed birds too. Your going to love that!

Glad you found the curry. It's so good. I love my Revere too. I've had it since the 80s.
Hello if you can drill the initial holes before the screws, it may not spilt.
Thanks
Enjoy your video's, I hope you share you potato pancake recipe.
I will, thanks for watching!

I am so happy to see you using avocado oil! Seed oils are so unhealthy.
I do still buy Canola oil if I'm frying something like fried, breaded oysters due to the cost of using avacado oil or olive oil for that. Will probably use it to fry the potato croquettes I'm going to make today.
Potato Croquets sound good
They're delicious. I don't make them often because they're fried in oil and kinda of pain to make.
enjoy your bird feeder
Thank you!

Ugh...
Oh, no! I don't blame you!
I put walmart bird food out everything was eaten but the sunflower seeds
So far the bluejays are eating all of it, from what I can tell, anyway
