Hi there, my son and I did a video on this topic, in french, on my channel. We talked about the differences with Hasbro, and had them tested by a dozen players before talking about it. The main consistent difference is the plastic part locking the Bit, located in the Ratchet. This part is tighter on Hasbro models for safety reasons, preventing the Bit from popping out of the combo with velocity. It highly decreases the Burst risk, the Bit will hardly pop out as long as the Ratchet is in place .
The second difference is the gear chip : Hasbro gear chip feels notched while Takara's feel smoother. It may have an impact on Bey performances, since this spinning part has been removed from UX models to "improve spin velocity and overall performances". Hope it helps. Great video, take care

Doing great work! Thanks for the info.
Seems like there's a slight difference between two copies of the same bey even from the same manufacturer. I've seen one or two cases of a Hasbro blade being just barely heavier than a Takara one.
Though the Takara beys when fully assembled tend to outweigh the Hasbro ones by about half a gram prettt consistently.

    Weight difference is commun!
Even in-between the same ones , it's just how they are made
Can't 100% be consistent with it , has it stands Hasbro and TT are the exact same expect that Hasbro blades have a QR code
Hasbro does get the advantage of always having the most recent mold updates , while TT updates molds has needed

good to see hasbro is finally back to achieving parity with the TT beys. this was a real big issue I had with them during the later burst years, felt especially sour when they made the "pro" series just to make you pay more for the real beys. really hope they keep this up cause i know they ended up diverging during the latter years of the metal and burst generations

Can you interchange Hasbro and TT parts?

There is a difference (maybe) the Japanese lock for the Ratchet is wider than the American version. There is no difference, but I was told that the wider lock for the Japanese version tends break overtime

The Hasbro Beys are the Tomy Beys. They even have Tomy branding molded into the plastic. The reason the Made in Veitnam is on them is because of legal requirements of companies to state where products are made. Otherwise they are identical molds.
The weight difference is within acceptable tolerances. Toys are molded plastic, and thus have imperfections. Some Tomy blades are a bit heavier, some Hasbro are. But none of them are more thana fraction of a gram different either way.
Beublaxe X was true to it word. These are Tomy designed products being distributed be released by Hasbro.

Wider lock is because old release, TT implemented the the new lock since the Unicorn Sting, so there not much a difference outside being comparing old to new.

There not much of a different outside of the tabs, TT PW was released before prior to the tab getting mold update during unicorn release so it keeping the older tab, Hasbro released later and their PW is just TT repackaged, so their shouldn't be a different in quality outside of lock tab.
