I find the way Kiara qualified for Beast status to be hilarious, as she is such a huge narcissist that she sees herself as the only human on earth, and since she loves herself so much she technically loves "humanity" as she's the only "human" according to her. There are also some theories concerning Nobunaga since FGO states that Demon King is _not_ her strongest form.
I find it hard extremely funny how with all the bs rules Fate or well Type-Moon as a whole has some of the justifications to break them can be really silly, like with the Kiara example presented, she is so narcissistic she views herself as a whole representative of humanity.

I just want to add that we met the LB version of Prometheus(who was fused with half of Hephaestus, meaning Prometheus was a Machine God), who revealed that the hands we fight (the ones that drop the Ember/Blaze/etc of Wisdom) are based on Prometheus’s arm.
If Beasts are defined as an Extra Class that manifests as calamities that threaten human history for the betterment of mankind, then I’m surprised Vritra wasn’t revealed to be one after release since she seems to fit the bill. In the Santa event, it's revealed she steals Christmas presents and puts the MC and other Servants through trials to see them work hard to overcome adversity. She wants to see humanity struggle, not because she gets off of their suffering *cough* Koyanskaya *cough*, but to prevail and overcome challenges/obstacles. She'd cause cataclysms without the desire for humanity's eradication, and knew she'd always be slain before it got to that point. Not truly evil but a natural phenomenon. In a way, she's the antithesis of Tiamat. As opposed to her Sin of Regression, Vritra represents human endeavor. She believes humans to be weak creatures but can't help but show respect when seeing them persevere. This contradiction along with her being a literal obstacle to overcome as a way to show her twisted love should qualify her as a Beast.
By all rights yes Virtra should absolutely be a beast. However I think the biggest difference between her and the real beasts and what keeps her from being one is that Virtra wants humanity to grow on their own while beasts want to control the growth of humanity.
@@julianrobertson1869 That's really the main thing preventing Vritra from being a beast IMO. She ultimately isn't interested in changing humanity fundamentally. She's just interested in challenging humanity, so it can grow on its own. Goetia wanted to change the very fundamental nature of the world, Kama wanted all humans to be able to indulge in their desires, etc etc. Vritra just wants you to be able to climb that mountain.
I think Vritra is too self aware to be a Beast. She wants to see both humans and gods improve as a whole and she is very careful in how she carries out her challenges to do so. I don't see any individual dead set on being defeated for the sake of their enemy's improvement to ever become a true Beast, as all other Beasts were too hung up on their sin to logically understand why their methods to "improve" humanity were so bad, whereas Vritra seems to understand both humans and gods VERY well. That said, I CAN see Vritra masquerading as a Beast class in order to set up another trial of improvement, maybe in preparation for a real Beast's arrival whom she deems too much for humanity to deal with at that moment. I could see this happening during a .5 event like Seraph or Scramble.
i…see everyone here forgets that beasts need to have one fundamental trait, which is “love for humanity” which is something that vritra lacks by default and nature. She puts obstacles and difficulties for humanity because her enjoyment of the struggle and success, not because she has any liking for humanity at all.
Personally I’d think Pandora would be a good fit for Beast of Shame for what she did. And even more likely too compare to Eve, given how Nasu seemingly avoids to offend Christianity in general and not making any servants from that side of mystic.

Camazotz being anything other than 5 star is almost impossible(We're talking about the guy that able to "Defeat" ORT, He is literally one of the most powerful servant out there) Lostbelt Camazotz almost has next to nothing to do with Panhuman Camazotz, He is pretty much an OC anyway.. So him being low star because we don't know about him historically doesn't make much sense
I suspect if they make anyone a lower rarity of a Beast class it's probably going to be Elizabeth being jealous Nero has a Beast class and wanting it too. Something wacky like that for a welfare.
Defeating ORT would not be something achievable in any other instance besides a Lostbelt. And to be frank Camazotz only became a beast because of the events within the Lostbelt and the discovery that his sacrifice means nothing in the grand scheme of things. PHH Camazotz is just a monster not anyone or anything important tbh. His qualification for beast class is a massive stretch because he doesn't represent any other sin besides despair. And to be honest humanity climbs that obstacle every day so yes he would be a low star beast if he was in the beast class. Which is why I am hoping for Alter Ego or Pretender instead.
Okay so there is actually another beast VI in fate already. Manaka Sajyou in Fate/Prototype summons what’s known as the beast of 666, or the beast of revelations. It’s referred to as Beast VI/G with the G standing for (I believe) Gomorrah while Draco is Beast VI/S with the S standing for Sodom. Though Draco only came about after Arthur killed 666 so idk if we’ll ever see it.
you also forgot to mention this: in Arthurs Trial Quest he said that when he wanted to enter Avalon after slaying best 666, Merlin stopped him and said that beast VI is still alive, so he is traveling across the multiverse until he finally slays it. He says that beast VI has split into 2 forms an L and R form, these are the ones he is corrently looking for. Nothing is know about each of them only what arthur said: L posesses "noxious gas" and R has a "lingering scent". The thing is that ther is also (what you said) an S (this one is Draco) and G (this one is 666). Acording to Arthur S/G will appear AFTER L/R have already appeared.

The confusion comes from that the two were referred to as L and R with no Beast number specified in the quest. However, we know now their titles as Lapse and Rapture means no other Beasts have L or R as suffixes as they specifically belong to III, just as S and G solely belong to VI. And we already know III and VI are linked due to Draco sharing the sin of Depravity (written with the same kanji as Lapse) with Kama. So what Arthur is claiming is that Beast VI will only appear after Beast III L and R have been defeated. Which has happened. If a Beast VI L/R existed as such, they would have had to have been killed off screen for Draco to manifest.

In Silver Sky, Arthur was able to blast the Beast into fragments which were known as L and R. He was sent to the Grand Order universe where they have already appeared. In events of Arcade however, Sodom and Gomorrah would be that universe's Beast VI. But since Grand Order had the Lilim Harlot event, Sodom is now canonical to our universe. Which means that there's a huge chance that the other fragments of Beast VI may show up in a separate event or arrive in Ordeal Call.

Very interessting idea with Shakespere, I like more modern Servants that could be Beasts instead of ancient gods and monsters. Two i wanna add are Nobu, who a lot of people already called out, but my own candidate would be Mansa Musa, as someone who gives out such lavish gifts and simply by traveling causes entire economies to crash by accident.
Beast of Shame is obviously the protagonist themselves. The shame for all the Saint Quartz spent trying to get their favorite servants. And also why KoD wanted to make them their final tail.
As a Filipino, my Beast candidate would be General Antonio Luna. He was an intellectual and a genius military strategist who was the driving force in the Philippine-American War. Luna is arguably one of the most intelligent military leaders in the South East Asia during his time. He had a deep love for his people and his soldiers, even sometimes escorting injured soldiers out of active war zones. One of the most famous military feats of his was when a unit he personally formed, the Luna Sharpshooters, was able to terminate General Henry Lawton; US's highest ranking casualty at the time. Somewhere down the line he worked on the philosophy of "Independence or death" that also influenced his men in battle. But he was cruel, needlessly strict, abrasive, and rageful. That caused ill-feelings towards him to manifest on both sides of the war. In addition to surviving countless battles, he was once exiled but eventually returned to the Philippines and when he was assassinated he persisted for awhile after being stabbed countless times and shot at before succumbing to his injuries. After his assassination though, the Philippines experienced a series of losses that eventually lead to the fall of the first Philippine Republic. With all that, I can see him manifesting as a juvenile Beast in different international historical revolutionary battles, influencing resistance forces with his brand of "Independence or Death," disrupting the flow of pan-human history. And because of his history, his influence would inevitably lead to infighting and the collapse of those areas regardless which sides win. If he ever was a Beast, I think he'd represent the sin of Rage as it's the emotion he most exercised and it led to his and his forces' downfall. Also, I can see him only exclusively summoning Berserker, Rider, Saber, and Archer servants to fight the protagonist. Berserkers being the men directly under him. Riders because of his specially made units making execellent use of horses and trains. Sabers because he also made use of bolomen. And Archers because of his Sharpshooters. I don't think he'll fully mature into a Beast because he'd rather kill himself instead of submitting to tyranny, even that of his own.
I could see Shakespeare not as a beast himself but instead as someone who is trying to create work with a BEAST. Example: Eve & Lilith are not BEASTS on there own but old wigglestick somehow fuses them together & with there combined goal to rid humanity of the fruit of knowledge creating a juvenile BEAST of Shame.
when I heard Prometheus I was wondering whyy; as he is traditionally considered to be a good guy. But the way you explained it makes a lot of sense but I think you could add to it further saying he wants humanity to be independent. One way to view the Prometheus is taking the power away from authorities out of our control and giving it to individuals, anyone can make fire; so maybe Prometheus might want to Give humanity knowledge as well as to take away the barriers protecting us, like the counter-force for example, so that everyone is truly free to do what we want (which would almost definitely be a bad to an extent). His want for everyone to be free would also mirror the fact that he was imprisoned for such a long time as well, and in such a painful manor, so maybe he thinks humanity is trapped and must be feeling a similar pain. As for number is could see beast 2/L. He mirrors Tiamat in the sense that in some versions of the myth he is the creator of humanity, so maybe sees himself as a father. Making it that one beasts is the mother who wants her kids to regress to far back, whereas the father wants his kids to progress to far forward. Dammit Klidge now I want him to be a beast but know he never will, why did you give me this knowledge!
I actually think Prometheus should be an Avenger class, since the class card image perfectly fits his situation of being imprisoned and being bound to chains and revenge being associated with fire (which Prometheus just so happen to also be associated to)
Prometheus always being portrayed as a good guy doesn't really matter given that both Merlin and Amaterasu are also always portrayed as good people (in spite of Merlin being an Antichrist) and yet Fgo has stated they are both Beast candidates (And also made the latter much more sinister).
@@rotciv557 Amaterasu isn't really a good guy or a bad guy. She's the ruler of the heavens and the supreme being. Shinto doesn't really attach an inherent morality to godhood, and if you said Amaterasu is good or evil any priest would laugh in your face. When she's happy, good things happen; when she's mad, bad things happen. That's all there is to it.
@Random yes, I know all of that. I was moreso thinking about pop culture versions of Amaterasu when I was saying that, like Ammy in Okami, who are typically explicitly heroic portrayals whereas FGO went with a much more selfish "absolute force of nature" angle that is more traditional.

Personally, I just really, really want a BEAST Angra Mainyu, having the theoretical become reality, taking the form of a shadow or as Sakura I don't know nor do I fully care which, either would be interesting. Since we don't know what kind of BEAST Mango can become, it'd be an interesting Event to explore in the game, maybe have the story of Heavens Feel become the Event and have Mango as the final boss. Also I kinda really want a 5 Star Angra Mainyu please Lasagna I beg of you
I was about to comment about it too. I think he could be Beast V since Fuyuki is still on fire in FGO timeline for...some reason. Plus, his famous quote is "The penalty starts with *five* " foreshadowing anyone? And uh...does his title is Beast of Retribution? I saw it from various sources but I'm not sure it's canon or fanon.
Tbh a more interesting way to to do a Beast storyline with Angra IMO would be to set him up as an alternate Beast II candidate who already lost his chance due to Tiamat taking that slot, so instead we have to face off with *Ahura Mazda* as Beast V and Angra is our main ally in dedeating him.
Technically since Angra represents all evils of humanity and not specific ones he technically could be any beast or even an amalgamation of them at his full power. Representing all of humanitys sins is pretty much his deal.
This is really weird timing for me because I'm reading an FGO/Dark Souls fanfic called "Fate: Souls and singularities," and the people at spacebattle forum are debating if "Ash", the Ashen One (the player in DS3) could be one or what "sin" could he represent, the leading one being "mercy". Merlin has proven that you can be both a Grand Servant candidate and a Beast candidate. And so I will make the argument that Tezcatlipoca would fit perfectly as an Evil of Humanity. Tezca and Fate's version Vritra have similar goals, they both put humanity through hardship to see them overcome adversity. But while Vritra does so by being a physical world ending calamity, Tezca does it in a way that makes him more similiar to Angra Manyu. Tezca would create physical illusions of horrible monsters to test the courage of any unfortune human that happend to cross them at night, and he was pretty brutal about it to the point where the only alternatives to not overcoming his trails were either death or a life so unlucky that you'd *WISHED* he had killed you. Some scholars believe that Tezca represented the idea of changing the world through conflict, and in Fate he believes that conflict is necessary for humanity to grow and prosper, a believe that the actual mythological Tezca also seems to share if we examine his actions. One of the biggest concepts that Tezca was associated with was "Introspection". Both Huitzilopochtli and Tezcatlipoca we're gods of war, but while the former represented the external war (A.K.A the war we are all familiar with), the latter represented the "internal war", the war agaisn't the internal warrior. He would tempt humanity to commit evil not because he wants to corrupt them like Satan does, but to see them reject his temptations and instead choosing to be the best version of themselves. And as a matter of fact, one of Tezca's names "Yaotl" means "Enemy", the enemy in particular being the internal enemy that resides in all humans A.K.A the "darkside" of humanity that is all of its worse aspects such as greed, hatred, the uncontrolled version of pride, selfishness and many others. I could very easily see Tezca manifest as a Beast in the story that would force humanity to overcome both his external and internal brutal trails, and those who refuse to overcome adversity will be punished with death or even something worse. Tezca even has a child form both in the mythology (Tepochtli and arguably Cuitlapanton) and in the actual game (Blue Tezcatlipoca), so he already fills the requierement of a Beast having a child form!
Although of course, now that Tezca is stuck being the Grand Assassin I don't think we will see Beast Tezcatlipoca anytime soon, not to mention he doesn't seem to want to change humanity fundamentally like Beasts do. He doesn't want to control the growth of humanity, he just wants to challenge humanity and for them to not be filthy cowards.
BB also has that mentality of wanting to see humanity grow out of conflict, and she uses more extreme methods like the luluhawa incident when she puts us on a time loop and fused with both an outer god and a creation goddess

I could see Hester Prynne (the protagnist of A Scarlet Letter) being a more 'modern' beast, the Angry Mango is confrimed to be a potential Beast too so a fun event could involve him. No idea who, but an idea I've always had was the concept was a Beast that was related to Commerce. Also one of the Hassans as a Beast, if Merlin can be both a Grand Servant and Potential Beast, then so can Gramps.
While she's currently a component in Ashiya Douman's saint graph, maybe Itzpapalotl could make the cut since, in addition to being a star-eating demon, she presides over infant mortality and childbirth as the ruler of the realm where humanity was first created, according to Aztec myth.
The fact you said Shakespeare could be a potential Beast candidate made me think of this plot real quick. You know what I would love to see a Singularity, where we do meet a Beast Candidate, we fight them and they outright say to the player after they get defeated by them “I may look like a Beast to you, but the real Beast is the one who wrote me into this position in the first place.” well they say that while slowly fading from the world and the moment they do fade and when the world warps or *tilts* Shakespeare is in your party for the Singularity. But he’s the one writing this story right next to us, he’s not writing it normally it's all in his subconscious until he gets sees inconsistencies in the story along with the group in the Singularity and is willing to be the enemy of the player to write this masterpiece that will bring a tragic close to the grand story of the humanity. One that can be told to the next species that evolves and gains consciousness no matter if they can understand his story or not.
Honestly, i wouldn't mind Akidna being a playable servant. It would give Type-Moon to play around it story and give Medusa(And Both her counter parts) more story relevance as well ger sisters.
Even as an honorable mention, I think Aleister Crowley is a very interesting figure to qualify as a Beast, even fill the VI/G spot if it wasn't already taken by Prototype's. He very much fills the role of a false prophet, and some of his self invented mythos are linked with the Whore of Babylon (as Babalon).
Honestly one that instantly came to my mind as someone who could be an extra Beast (If we wanted to make more due to alternate realities) would actually be Abigail Williams. Since she goes off with the mysterious man and each Abby that we meet (The one from Salem, The one we summon, and Summer Abby) are each different-ish entities I could see one out there that wishes to protect humanity by becoming what she believes is the best protector of light an Archangel/God. The reason I feel it would work for her is mainly from how she acts in the Summer event. She wants to protect the master from the scars left behind from these "dream" servants who will flicker away at some point and leave the master in loneliness and the pain of loss. I could see this thought process being skewed in someway that makes her wish to protect everyone under her heavenly light. So she would basically start like a normal Abby (Maybe toss her a Halo or something) and ascension 3 would be this adult Angel Abby (or possibly Eldritch Angel) and it will take showing her that humanity can protect itself without needing her (similarly to how Summer Abby was shown that the Master can handle himself with the eventually of losing his servant friends forever).
This wouldn't work with Abby that we know because all she cares about is Ringmaster(Master) If they make her grow a bit more, with bigger boobas(because it's a requirement so that her banner sells) then she might get a new personality trait along with her new appearance which could be a sin of humanity, though I personally sees this as unlikely because i'm sure she'll just stop herself from straying too far as she is a devout believer in God
@@Succubus_L0li That is fair basically this would be one that has traveled through with the mysterious man or is a different one entirely, maybe she becomes just how the others of Salem became being so devout that she is willing to protect everyone from "sin" itself with her power. Maybe like in the video she gets convinced by Eve, The Serpent, or even Lilith to be an "Angel" that protects the world she cares about. There are many ways you could go about it with her and thats if you wanted to go with making a beast of a servant that is already here.
I've mentioned this before but I think an excellent concept for a beast class servant that could also be summoned as a Pretender is Prince Lindworm and have him be connected to the world serpent Midgardsormr/Jörmungandr. Similar to how Altera is connected to Velper 02. He'll likely be a beast based around regret or sorrow. Likely because of him being aware that his existence causes others pain from him his wanton destructive tendencies from him devouring others. His "love" for humanity more comes from the fact he has never felt loved to begin with. With him wanting to make a genuine connection to others to fill a hole in his heart. Only for him to kill them anyway thus the cycle continues. His voracious appetite and it being said that when he releases his tail Ragnarok begins is likely why he's a beast. I imagine that in order to keep him sealed they split him into pieces. Prince Lindworm is the part that has retained some part of his humanity. The one that genuinely loves others despite his curse. Niddhogg, the dragon that eats the roots of the world tree, would be the part of him with his more monstrous tendanceces. And of course what remains of Jörmungandr, which is the part of him that despises humanity and believes it should be restarted at square one, purposely wanting to start Ragnarok so they can be reborn.
okey, we need that last theory as an event, but the fina boss is just regular Shakespeare with bis year 1 caster balls and a Beast symbol over his head. Also, the event enemies all have that King Leer jester sitting on top of their heads instead of just the spriggan
Aleister Crowley is such an enigma and I’m surprised he doesn’t have a bigger role in Fate when he’s the one popularized Sex Magick, and strived to the beast 666. Maybe one day he’ll be added as a servant. Honestly his role in the To Aru series makes it feel like he’d be a titan in any story about Magic.
His influence is very obvious if you're into the instalments that focus on Magi, but Heroic Spirits are broadly limited to over 100 years ago, so he's not going to show up as one in FGO.

Fom my understanding Lostbelt Camazotz is not the Deity Camazotz at all (not even the Lostbelt Version of him), so the myth of the God Camazotz doesn't really impact his capabilities. In Olympus the Hephaistos unit there mentions that Prometheus and he are the same (he was called Prometheus in the past) depending on how you interpret that it could mean that no independant Saint Graph of Prometheus exists.
I want to see whatever beast angry mango+ Sakura was supposed to become. Cause like from what I've read about angra mainu he's like nyarlethotep from persona 2, the manifestation of humanity's shadow all the things we don't know or don't want to admit to. Actually come to think of it that's probably just BB. So I want to see beast BB. Although shed probably just paint a Moon Cancer stick over her saint graph just like she did for Foreigner BB and Ruler BB.
I'm gonna say BB. The reason is very flimsy but in the first CCC fight you do with her there is pink static covering the middle of the screen. If you find a video and slow it down it says Advent Beast before it gets covered. Now this could mean nothing but I'm thinking it could mean something. Though BB only cares about her senpai so it probably wouldn't work out. Also Summer 3 happened.
BB would be a shoo-in but she quite simply lacks the love of humanity necessary to qualify, she is far more focused on individuals like Hakuno and Ritsuka to care too much about the whole.

In the CCC SERAPH event (if this is what you're talking about, I assume), that probably pops up because of Kiara. If I recall the event correctly, BB was technically Kiara's Servant and, ironically, the Pseudo-BB (Big Bad).
I desperately want angra to be summoned as a beast class and I think it'd be cool if in that manifestation his powers more align with the zoroastrian god/demon rather than him as a human. Like in becoming a beast he throws himself fully into being all the worlds evil and discards all of himself from his life? It would be a play on the sin of pride and it could tie into his departure from godhood (maybe his plot would have something with belief as in religious faith) though I don't know how he would try to force humanity to change. I always had this idea of an April fools style fou spirit where he has a passive that gives him NP gauge each turn, his skills on top of their actual effects increase or decrease his NO gauge, and has a negative NP gain stat when attack and an extra large NP gain stat on getting hit. The idea is that while in combat each turn fou is continuously building up energy and needs to either attack or use particular skills to burn off that energy. Because when you start a then where fou has 100 percent or higher NP gauge you are forced to use his NP that deals serious buff striping damage to all enemy akin to two Stella’s. The catch is is that not only does using this NP take out Fou but also your entire frontline. Fou is a walking time bomb meant to take out everyone on the field under normal circumstances.
interestingly enough prometheus and the serpent are considered trickster gods (a god that causes problems) and like many trickster gods are the ones responsible for granting humans some form of wisdom or knowledge stolen from the realm of gods. Because all of these legends are just stories that steal ideas from each other if they do implement a beast of knowledge, you could essentially wrap them all up into one big god of chaotic inspiration.
So I thought of an idea after watching this and some time, but one thing you could do for an extra beast class characters would be to include some sort of Beast of Humanity from the Servantverse universe. I mean we know about the primal goddess that Spishtar is but they never really talk about if there is more than just her out there for her pantheon or any other deity level entities. They could have other ones out there for whenever we do Saber Wars 3 the Sabering. Would kind of be nice to add more "Threats to Humanity" things so that we could give XX some love.

Correction the Nephilim like Goliath have nothing to do with the Nephilim of Genesis in Jewish Myth. Atlas was summoned by Wodime but was inside the tree and subsequently killed by Muramasa, and in LB5.2 Prometheus merged with Hephaestus so we both have a titan and Prometheus himself (sort of) appearing. Angra explicitly qualifies as a beast class, as Nasu said that if his manifestation wasn't stopped in HF he would've manifested as one
Lilith's story is infinitely more complicated than this short summary. To make a long story short, she predates Judaism by a lot, and was eventually adopted into the religion via the incorporation of Lilith rumours into tradition. In the process, she became attached to Asherah and the Shekhinah, so she's God.
One possiblity could be the Foreigner Class, well the proper foreigners. Since they are labeled as Threat to Humanity, they could possibly qualify as Beast candidates depending on the scenario. Lovecraftian mythos is a more based on madness and doesnt have much to do with love for humanity but since they cannot exist on our world they use extensions of certain figures which would, depending on the servant, have a love for humanity. Definitely the Extra classes have potential like the Pretenders which we dont fully understand completely.
Threats to Humanity are actually the opposite of Beasts. The former comes as foreign invaders like aliens and vampires, whereas Beasts are self-destruct sequences comparable to cancers.
Whore of Babylon, Draco, and Coccinea are all different forms of Beast VI/S, Fou is no longer Beast IV, and Camazotz is Beast I Lost so there are actually a lot more than 2 open slots for new beasts

Lucifer is confirmed in LB5 to be a Beast, but she's an alternate form of Aphrodite. It's complicated. Satan is not the same being, but rather a category of beings, and we've seen multiple Satans already - Mephistopheles, Ishtar, Jalter (no really), and Hassan of the Cursed Arm's cursed arm (no REALLY).

I find the way Kiara qualified for Beast status to be hilarious, as she is such a huge narcissist that she sees herself as the only human on earth, and since she loves herself so much she technically loves "humanity" as she's the only "human" according to her.
There are also some theories concerning Nobunaga since FGO states that Demon King is _not_ her strongest form.
I find it hard extremely funny how with all the bs rules Fate or well Type-Moon as a whole has some of the justifications to break them can be really silly, like with the Kiara example presented, she is so narcissistic she views herself as a whole representative of humanity.

If Beasts are defined as an Extra Class that manifests as calamities that threaten human history for the betterment of mankind, then I’m surprised Vritra wasn’t revealed to be one after release since she seems to fit the bill. In the Santa event, it's revealed she steals Christmas presents and puts the MC and other Servants through trials to see them work hard to overcome adversity. She wants to see humanity struggle, not because she gets off of their suffering *cough* Koyanskaya *cough*, but to prevail and overcome challenges/obstacles. She'd cause cataclysms without the desire for humanity's eradication, and knew she'd always be slain before it got to that point. Not truly evil but a natural phenomenon. In a way, she's the antithesis of Tiamat. As opposed to her Sin of Regression, Vritra represents human endeavor. She believes humans to be weak creatures but can't help but show respect when seeing them persevere. This contradiction along with her being a literal obstacle to overcome as a way to show her twisted love should qualify her as a Beast.
By all rights yes Virtra should absolutely be a beast. However I think the biggest difference between her and the real beasts and what keeps her from being one is that Virtra wants humanity to grow on their own while beasts want to control the growth of humanity.
So instead of "Sin of Regression", is it safe to say this is a "Sin of Progression"?
@@julianrobertson1869 That's really the main thing preventing Vritra from being a beast IMO. She ultimately isn't interested in changing humanity fundamentally. She's just interested in challenging humanity, so it can grow on its own. Goetia wanted to change the very fundamental nature of the world, Kama wanted all humans to be able to indulge in their desires, etc etc.
Vritra just wants you to be able to climb that mountain.
I think Vritra is too self aware to be a Beast. She wants to see both humans and gods improve as a whole and she is very careful in how she carries out her challenges to do so. I don't see any individual dead set on being defeated for the sake of their enemy's improvement to ever become a true Beast, as all other Beasts were too hung up on their sin to logically understand why their methods to "improve" humanity were so bad, whereas Vritra seems to understand both humans and gods VERY well.
That said, I CAN see Vritra masquerading as a Beast class in order to set up another trial of improvement, maybe in preparation for a real Beast's arrival whom she deems too much for humanity to deal with at that moment. I could see this happening during a .5 event like Seraph or Scramble.

Lostbelt Camazotz almost has next to nothing to do with Panhuman Camazotz, He is pretty much an OC anyway.. So him being low star because we don't know about him historically doesn't make much sense

Defeating ORT would not be something achievable in any other instance besides a Lostbelt. And to be frank Camazotz only became a beast because of the events within the Lostbelt and the discovery that his sacrifice means nothing in the grand scheme of things. PHH Camazotz is just a monster not anyone or anything important tbh. His qualification for beast class is a massive stretch because he doesn't represent any other sin besides despair. And to be honest humanity climbs that obstacle every day so yes he would be a low star beast if he was in the beast class. Which is why I am hoping for Alter Ego or Pretender instead.
Okay so there is actually another beast VI in fate already. Manaka Sajyou in Fate/Prototype summons what’s known as the beast of 666, or the beast of revelations. It’s referred to as Beast VI/G with the G standing for (I believe) Gomorrah while Draco is Beast VI/S with the S standing for Sodom. Though Draco only came about after Arthur killed 666 so idk if we’ll ever see it.
you also forgot to mention this: in Arthurs Trial Quest he said that when he wanted to enter Avalon after slaying best 666, Merlin stopped him and said that beast VI is still alive, so he is traveling across the multiverse until he finally slays it.
He says that beast VI has split into 2 forms an L and R form, these are the ones he is corrently looking for. Nothing is know about each of them only what arthur said: L posesses "noxious gas" and R has a "lingering scent". The thing is that ther is also (what you said) an S (this one is Draco) and G (this one is 666). Acording to Arthur S/G will appear AFTER L/R have already appeared.

The confusion comes from that the two were referred to as L and R with no Beast number specified in the quest. However, we know now their titles as Lapse and Rapture means no other Beasts have L or R as suffixes as they specifically belong to III, just as S and G solely belong to VI.
And we already know III and VI are linked due to Draco sharing the sin of Depravity (written with the same kanji as Lapse) with Kama. So what Arthur is claiming is that Beast VI will only appear after Beast III L and R have been defeated. Which has happened. If a Beast VI L/R existed as such, they would have had to have been killed off screen for Draco to manifest.

In Silver Sky, Arthur was able to blast the Beast into fragments which were known as L and R. He was sent to the Grand Order universe where they have already appeared. In events of Arcade however, Sodom and Gomorrah would be that universe's Beast VI. But since Grand Order had the Lilim Harlot event, Sodom is now canonical to our universe. Which means that there's a huge chance that the other fragments of Beast VI may show up in a separate event or arrive in Ordeal Call.

I honestly love the idea of Beasts of Humanity, the fact they love humanity is such a fun concept. That last one is wild tho.
As a Filipino, my Beast candidate would be General Antonio Luna. He was an intellectual and a genius military strategist who was the driving force in the Philippine-American War. Luna is arguably one of the most intelligent military leaders in the South East Asia during his time. He had a deep love for his people and his soldiers, even sometimes escorting injured soldiers out of active war zones. One of the most famous military feats of his was when a unit he personally formed, the Luna Sharpshooters, was able to terminate General Henry Lawton; US's highest ranking casualty at the time. Somewhere down the line he worked on the philosophy of "Independence or death" that also influenced his men in battle. But he was cruel, needlessly strict, abrasive, and rageful. That caused ill-feelings towards him to manifest on both sides of the war. In addition to surviving countless battles, he was once exiled but eventually returned to the Philippines and when he was assassinated he persisted for awhile after being stabbed countless times and shot at before succumbing to his injuries.
After his assassination though, the Philippines experienced a series of losses that eventually lead to the fall of the first Philippine Republic.
With all that, I can see him manifesting as a juvenile Beast in different international historical revolutionary battles, influencing resistance forces with his brand of "Independence or Death," disrupting the flow of pan-human history. And because of his history, his influence would inevitably lead to infighting and the collapse of those areas regardless which sides win. If he ever was a Beast, I think he'd represent the sin of Rage as it's the emotion he most exercised and it led to his and his forces' downfall.
Also, I can see him only exclusively summoning Berserker, Rider, Saber, and Archer servants to fight the protagonist. Berserkers being the men directly under him. Riders because of his specially made units making execellent use of horses and trains. Sabers because he also made use of bolomen. And Archers because of his Sharpshooters.
I don't think he'll fully mature into a Beast because he'd rather kill himself instead of submitting to tyranny, even that of his own.

when I heard Prometheus I was wondering whyy; as he is traditionally considered to be a good guy. But the way you explained it makes a lot of sense but I think you could add to it further saying he wants humanity to be independent. One way to view the Prometheus is taking the power away from authorities out of our control and giving it to individuals, anyone can make fire; so maybe Prometheus might want to Give humanity knowledge as well as to take away the barriers protecting us, like the counter-force for example, so that everyone is truly free to do what we want (which would almost definitely be a bad to an extent).
His want for everyone to be free would also mirror the fact that he was imprisoned for such a long time as well, and in such a painful manor, so maybe he thinks humanity is trapped and must be feeling a similar pain.
As for number is could see beast 2/L. He mirrors Tiamat in the sense that in some versions of the myth he is the creator of humanity, so maybe sees himself as a father. Making it that one beasts is the mother who wants her kids to regress to far back, whereas the father wants his kids to progress to far forward.

I actually think Prometheus should be an Avenger class, since the class card image perfectly fits his situation of being imprisoned and being bound to chains and revenge being associated with fire (which Prometheus just so happen to also be associated to)
Prometheus always being portrayed as a good guy doesn't really matter given that both Merlin and Amaterasu are also always portrayed as good people (in spite of Merlin being an Antichrist) and yet Fgo has stated they are both Beast candidates (And also made the latter much more sinister).

Shinto doesn't really attach an inherent morality to godhood, and if you said Amaterasu is good or evil any priest would laugh in your face. When she's happy, good things happen; when she's mad, bad things happen. That's all there is to it.

Personally, I just really, really want a BEAST Angra Mainyu, having the theoretical become reality, taking the form of a shadow or as Sakura I don't know nor do I fully care which, either would be interesting. Tbh a more interesting way to to do a Beast storyline with Angra IMO would be to set him up as an alternate Beast II candidate who already lost his chance due to Tiamat taking that slot, so instead we have to face off with *Ahura Mazda* as Beast V and Angra is our main ally in dedeating him.
Technically since Angra represents all evils of humanity and not specific ones he technically could be any beast or even an amalgamation of them at his full power.
Representing all of humanitys sins is pretty much his deal.
This is really weird timing for me because I'm reading an FGO/Dark Souls fanfic called "Fate: Souls and singularities," and the people at spacebattle forum are debating if "Ash", the Ashen One (the player in DS3) could be one or what "sin" could he represent, the leading one being "mercy".

Merlin has proven that you can be both a Grand Servant candidate and a Beast candidate.
And so I will make the argument that Tezcatlipoca would fit perfectly as an Evil of Humanity.
Tezca and Fate's version Vritra have similar goals, they both put humanity through hardship to see them overcome adversity.
But while Vritra does so by being a physical world ending calamity, Tezca does it in a way that makes him more similiar to Angra Manyu.
Tezca would create physical illusions of horrible monsters to test the courage of any unfortune human that happend to cross them at night, and he was pretty brutal about it to the point where the only alternatives to not overcoming his trails were either death or a life so unlucky that you'd *WISHED* he had killed you.
Some scholars believe that Tezca represented the idea of changing the world through conflict, and in Fate he believes that conflict is necessary for humanity to grow and prosper, a believe that the actual mythological Tezca also seems to share if we examine his actions.
One of the biggest concepts that Tezca was associated with was "Introspection".
Both Huitzilopochtli and Tezcatlipoca we're gods of war, but while the former represented the external war (A.K.A the war we are all familiar with), the latter represented the "internal war", the war agaisn't the internal warrior.
He would tempt humanity to commit evil not because he wants to corrupt them like Satan does, but to see them reject his temptations and instead choosing to be the best version of themselves.
And as a matter of fact, one of Tezca's names "Yaotl" means "Enemy", the enemy in particular being the internal enemy that resides in all humans A.K.A the "darkside" of humanity that is all of its worse aspects such as greed, hatred, the uncontrolled version of pride, selfishness and many others.
I could very easily see Tezca manifest as a Beast in the story that would force humanity to overcome both his external and internal brutal trails, and those who refuse to overcome adversity will be punished with death or even something worse.
Tezca even has a child form both in the mythology (Tepochtli and arguably Cuitlapanton) and in the actual game (Blue Tezcatlipoca), so he already fills the requierement of a Beast having a child form!
Although of course, now that Tezca is stuck being the Grand Assassin I don't think we will see Beast Tezcatlipoca anytime soon, not to mention he doesn't seem to want to change humanity fundamentally like Beasts do.
He doesn't want to control the growth of humanity, he just wants to challenge humanity and for them to not be filthy cowards.
BB also has that mentality of wanting to see humanity grow out of conflict, and she uses more extreme methods like the luluhawa incident when she puts us on a time loop and fused with both an outer god and a creation goddess

I could see Hester Prynne (the protagnist of A Scarlet Letter) being a more 'modern' beast, the Angry Mango is confrimed to be a potential Beast too so a fun event could involve him. No idea who, but an idea I've always had was the concept was a Beast that was related to Commerce. Also one of the Hassans as a Beast, if Merlin can be both a Grand Servant and Potential Beast, then so can Gramps.

You know what I would love to see a Singularity, where we do meet a Beast Candidate, we fight them and they outright say to the player after they get defeated by them “I may look like a Beast to you, but the real Beast is the one who wrote me into this position in the first place.” well they say that while slowly fading from the world and the moment they do fade and when the world warps or *tilts* Shakespeare is in your party for the Singularity.
But he’s the one writing this story right next to us, he’s not writing it normally it's all in his subconscious until he gets sees inconsistencies in the story along with the group in the Singularity and is willing to be the enemy of the player to write this masterpiece that will bring a tragic close to the grand story of the humanity. One that can be told to the next species that evolves and gains consciousness no matter if they can understand his story or not.
Honestly, i wouldn't mind Akidna being a playable servant. It would give Type-Moon to play around it story and give Medusa(And Both her counter parts) more story relevance as well ger sisters.

Even as an honorable mention, I think Aleister Crowley is a very interesting figure to qualify as a Beast, even fill the VI/G spot if it wasn't already taken by Prototype's.
He very much fills the role of a false prophet, and some of his self invented mythos are linked with the Whore of Babylon (as Babalon).
Honestly one that instantly came to my mind as someone who could be an extra Beast (If we wanted to make more due to alternate realities) would actually be Abigail Williams. Since she goes off with the mysterious man and each Abby that we meet (The one from Salem, The one we summon, and Summer Abby) are each different-ish entities I could see one out there that wishes to protect humanity by becoming what she believes is the best protector of light an Archangel/God. The reason I feel it would work for her is mainly from how she acts in the Summer event. She wants to protect the master from the scars left behind from these "dream" servants who will flicker away at some point and leave the master in loneliness and the pain of loss. I could see this thought process being skewed in someway that makes her wish to protect everyone under her heavenly light. So she would basically start like a normal Abby (Maybe toss her a Halo or something) and ascension 3 would be this adult Angel Abby (or possibly Eldritch Angel) and it will take showing her that humanity can protect itself without needing her (similarly to how Summer Abby was shown that the Master can handle himself with the eventually of losing his servant friends forever).

If they make her grow a bit more, with bigger boobas(because it's a requirement so that her banner sells) then she might get a new personality trait along with her new appearance which could be a sin of humanity, though I personally sees this as unlikely because i'm sure she'll just stop herself from straying too far as she is a devout believer in God
@@Succubus_L0li That is fair basically this would be one that has traveled through with the mysterious man or is a different one entirely, maybe she becomes just how the others of Salem became being so devout that she is willing to protect everyone from "sin" itself with her power. Maybe like in the video she gets convinced by Eve, The Serpent, or even Lilith to be an "Angel" that protects the world she cares about. There are many ways you could go about it with her and thats if you wanted to go with making a beast of a servant that is already here.
I've mentioned this before but I think an excellent concept for a beast class servant that could also be summoned as a Pretender is Prince Lindworm and have him be connected to the world serpent Midgardsormr/Jörmungandr. Similar to how Altera is connected to Velper 02.
He'll likely be a beast based around regret or sorrow. Likely because of him being aware that his existence causes others pain from him his wanton destructive tendencies from him devouring others. His "love" for humanity more comes from the fact he has never felt loved to begin with. With him wanting to make a genuine connection to others to fill a hole in his heart. Only for him to kill them anyway thus the cycle continues. His voracious appetite and it being said that when he releases his tail Ragnarok begins is likely why he's a beast.
I imagine that in order to keep him sealed they split him into pieces. Prince Lindworm is the part that has retained some part of his humanity. The one that genuinely loves others despite his curse. Niddhogg, the dragon that eats the roots of the world tree, would be the part of him with his more monstrous tendanceces. And of course what remains of Jörmungandr, which is the part of him that despises humanity and believes it should be restarted at square one, purposely wanting to start Ragnarok so they can be reborn.
Bias speaking here, but i think a summonable Fou would be a Merlin face, and i would love to have more servants drawn by Taiki

Aleister Crowley is such an enigma and I’m surprised he doesn’t have a bigger role in Fate when he’s the one popularized Sex Magick, and strived to the beast 666. Maybe one day he’ll be added as a servant. Honestly his role in the To Aru series makes it feel like he’d be a titan in any story about Magic.
His influence is very obvious if you're into the instalments that focus on Magi, but Heroic Spirits are broadly limited to over 100 years ago, so he's not going to show up as one in FGO.

I'm gonna say BB. The reason is very flimsy but in the first CCC fight you do with her there is pink static covering the middle of the screen. If you find a video and slow it down it says Advent Beast before it gets covered. Now this could mean nothing but I'm thinking it could mean something.

BB would be a shoo-in but she quite simply lacks the love of humanity necessary to qualify, she is far more focused on individuals like Hakuno and Ritsuka to care too much about the whole.
I don't think that's too farfetched, it might not be love but her purpose is to protect all mankind. Also in CCC her goal was to grant every single wish on earth, which sounds good at first glance but gets twisted once you think on the implications, similar to a Beast

In the CCC SERAPH event (if this is what you're talking about, I assume), that probably pops up because of Kiara. If I recall the event correctly, BB was technically Kiara's Servant and, ironically, the Pseudo-BB (Big Bad).

@@Halophage maybe humility as he decided to live as a mortal after losing the elixir of immortality and ended up living his life to the fullest til he died. It would be a play on the sin of pride and it could tie into his departure from godhood (maybe his plot would have something with belief as in religious faith) though I don't know how he would try to force humanity to change. He never seemed like the type to make others change and just kinda wanted them to abide by his beliefs or disappear from his sight
I always had this idea of an April fools style fou spirit where he has a passive that gives him NP gauge each turn, his skills on top of their actual effects increase or decrease his NO gauge, and has a negative NP gain stat when attack and an extra large NP gain stat on getting hit.
The idea is that while in combat each turn fou is continuously building up energy and needs to either attack or use particular skills to burn off that energy. Because when you start a then where fou has 100 percent or higher NP gauge you are forced to use his NP that deals serious buff striping damage to all enemy akin to two Stella’s. The catch is is that not only does using this NP take out Fou but also your entire frontline. Fou is a walking time bomb meant to take out everyone on the field under normal circumstances.
interestingly enough prometheus and the serpent are considered trickster gods (a god that causes problems) and like many trickster gods are the ones responsible for granting humans some form of wisdom or knowledge stolen from the realm of gods. Because all of these legends are just stories that steal ideas from each other if they do implement a beast of knowledge, you could essentially wrap them all up into one big god of chaotic inspiration.

So I thought of an idea after watching this and some time, but one thing you could do for an extra beast class characters would be to include some sort of Beast of Humanity from the Servantverse universe. I mean we know about the primal goddess that Spishtar is but they never really talk about if there is more than just her out there for her pantheon or any other deity level entities. They could have other ones out there for whenever we do Saber Wars 3 the Sabering. Would kind of be nice to add more "Threats to Humanity" things so that we could give XX some love.

Lilith's story is infinitely more complicated than this short summary. To make a long story short, she predates Judaism by a lot, and was eventually adopted into the religion via the incorporation of Lilith rumours into tradition. In the process, she became attached to Asherah and the Shekhinah, so she's God.
One possiblity could be the Foreigner Class, well the proper foreigners. Since they are labeled as Threat to Humanity, they could possibly qualify as Beast candidates depending on the scenario. Lovecraftian mythos is a more based on madness and doesnt have much to do with love for humanity but since they cannot exist on our world they use extensions of certain figures which would, depending on the servant, have a love for humanity. Definitely the Extra classes have potential like the Pretenders which we dont fully understand completely.
Threats to Humanity are actually the opposite of Beasts. The former comes as foreign invaders like aliens and vampires, whereas Beasts are self-destruct sequences comparable to cancers.
Whore of Babylon, Draco, and Coccinea are all different forms of Beast VI/S, Fou is no longer Beast IV, and Camazotz is Beast I Lost so there are actually a lot more than 2 open slots for new beasts

Lucifer is confirmed in LB5 to be a Beast, but she's an alternate form of Aphrodite. It's complicated.
Satan is not the same being, but rather a category of beings, and we've seen multiple Satans already - Mephistopheles, Ishtar, Jalter (no really), and Hassan of the Cursed Arm's cursed arm (no REALLY).
