    Fun fact: the carnotaurus actually had a pretty weak bite despite its size. Thats the case for a bunch of abelisaurids.

    I like how Disney’s carno being the first one to appear in media has basically made pretty much all Carno’s in media to be red

      @@thelonerex I never said anything about smell, I said that carnotaurus had great stamina and what I meant is that they could run and catch prey for 30 miles

      @@hansschneider738 tracking down pray isn’t the same as pursuing prey. You formulated your comment wrong. It’s “pursuing” not “tracking”..

    This would be one of the most dangerous dinosaurs, to humans. We are a really good meal to a T. rex but are really hard to catch but the carno was faster than us by a lot but probably didn’t have the best turning but we would be ideal for it

  • @edgeofsanity9111
    @edgeofsanity9111 2 місяці тому +1

    Well their turn was slow, so all you really had to do is make an unexpected quick turn and keep running

    70 million years ago isn’t just an incorrect estimate, if you just listed to it sounds fake.

    • @bonniemob65
      @bonniemob65 Місяць тому

      The age range that Carnotaurus lived in was between 72 million years and 69 million years, so 70 million years is not that bad since it is between the higher and lower estimates.

    • @NinJoeCool
      @NinJoeCool Місяць тому

      Millions is a completely arbitrary estimate though, the earth is provably thousands of years old, although no one can no for certain. Just like evolution, it’s taught as a fact even though is just a theory.

      @@NinJoeCool_"Millions is a completely arbitrary estimate though,"_
      No it's not, it was determined using absolute dating methods - specifically Uranium-Lead radiometric dating - along with a precise relative dating methods biostratigraphy (specifically palaeopalynology). The uranium-lead radiometric dating was used to determine that the upper boundary of the La Colonia Formation was about 71.7 million years old, while the palaeopalynology was used to determine the youngest age of the formation (about 67 million years, based on the presence of _Tripunctisporis maastrichtiensis)._
      _"The Earth is provably thousands of years old, although no-one can no for certain."_
      There is absolutely no evidence that demonstrates that the Earth is this young - we know for certain that it's not, thanks to all of the evidence contradicting it, such as radiometric dating, palaeomagnetism, etc., which all demonstrate that the Earth is 4.5 billion years old.
      _"Just like evolution, it's taught as a fact even though is just a theory."_
      Two things:
      A) Evolution is a fact, and a theory. This is because a theory in science is a functional explanation of natural phenomena, not just a guess like a layman's theory. The theory of evolution is the well-substantiated functional explanation of how evolution, an observable and testable natural process, works.
      B) The ages given by radiometric dating aren't layman's theories. They're calculations made after observing the ratio of unstable to stable isotopes in a rock and comparing that with the rate of decay of the unstable isotopes, which then allows the age to be calculated.

    • @bonniemob65
      @bonniemob65 Місяць тому

      Thanks to radiometric dating, palaeomagnetism, etc., the Earth has been proven *not* to be only 6000 years old. The 6000 year number was also based on a literal interpretation of the Bible, so it's hardly a scientific estimate.
