But you knew about the cessna! Most people don't. The Bell 47 is my favorite helicopter of all time! I have more than 200 hrs in the 47. I still love that helicopter!
Also, I had seen pics of the wheeled “biz” chopper, didn’t realize it was a 47. This is a great video! I had thought the first covered booms or cockpits came with the 47g. This is an awesome find thanks for the post!
@@papadopp3870 I think the ones with the covered fuselage and no bubble are very early 47 models that preceded the bubble's introduction; they look very similar to a 47B that the Smithsonian has.
I guess this video is 1950s, the 47 was the pulse for the helicopter industry, a truly icon of rotorcraft aviation. Beautiful.
Given the early style of 47 models shown, this might even be from the late 1940s.

The Cessna CH-41 was not made until 1953. The Bell 47 was certified in 1946.
