so, it is canon that dogwelder's power allows him to weld the star sirius, as it is the *dog* star. he can also use the dog heads to communicate. It is assumed that he has a lot more abilities, he just can't explore them because he is too busy welding dogs to faces.
And his power comes from a curse that's attached to the equipment, the original dog welded a dog to a man and made the god Anubis who got pissed at him and cursed him and anyone else who touches his welding equipment to weld dogs to peoples faces for the rest of time.
Dog Welder and the Expendables are actually really interesting, regardless of how awful they are. Like, Dog Welder has this weird Pyro from TF2 vibe, but like, a thousand times more unsettling. Considering his weight he might not even really be human. And considering how just . . . fuckin' weird the comic universes are in general, Six Pac could in fact be altering the universe and isn't aware of the implications of it, or that he is doing it at all. Which may seem like he just doesn't have any powers, but I think it's kind of a Midas' Curse kind of thing, where the power is there but you can't really control it, it just kinda turns against you, which would be a really interesting story.
The dog welders are cursed to have the compulsion to weld dogs. The true power they have is the ability to weld matter itself. Dog weld 2 uses this ability to weld 2 stars together to save the universe. Also, 6 Pak went to rehab, got clean, then superman forced him to relapse just for fun.
Actually, comic aquaman can’t just talk to fish, he can dominate their brains and control them. Also there’s this slight thing that he can lift the oceanic plates. Not only that, he can also block attacks that can easily sink continents.
Even if his only power was to “talk to fish” that still means he can communicate and control literal trillions of different organisms from microscopic plankton to the largest Blue Whales to call upon. And not to mention he has a GIANT KRAKEN that he can command at will. Aqua man is a freaking badass and a terrifying hero to actually face. Really the only thing holding him back is the Superfriends which more or less has tainted the character for generations (luckily, I got to grow up with Brave and the Bold Aquaman so I actually found him quite cool)
i mean, technically his powers would be useful if he was next to a wall, because anyone trying to physically attack him would instantly go through him into the neighboring room, which could be very powerful if doorman was high up. still very niche tho
Also, dogwelder has MANY extra powers, such as: -BEING ABLE TO WELD STARS -Being able to speak through dead dogs -he actually can't die, because someone else will become possessed by his welding equipment and become the next dogwelder.

Dude, Dog Welder’s origin story is crazy. Apparently there have been different versions of him throughout human history. Going back to ancient Egypt. He was a bronze smelter who was tricked by the gods to help create Anubis. Anubis, furious for how ridiculous his birth is, cursed the smelter and his fear to haunt humanity for all time. The gear changing throughout the eras to fit into the time period.
To be fair to Aquaman, does have super strength from living in the crushing depths of the ocean. And Squirrel Girl was literally a gag character that got massively popular for whatever reason.

It gets to the point where every c-list and d-list hero tries to convince him to stop his path of rage when it's revealed that one of the new heroes who joined up to soon become part of the team *is the grandchild of that very villain before every other villain dog welder scarred groups up as a mob to hunt him and anyone who wishes to protect him down leading into a deep philosophy conflict about the past haunting the future and solving anger through pain only leading to more suffering.*
It is still pretty funny that Matter Eater Ladd is still pretty powerful. There hasn't been anything that he couldn't bite off, and is fast enough to swallow bullets or lasers being shot at him. I think his most notable event was eating the Miracle Machine (an "indestructible" machine) that was literally going to blow up the entire universe. Did go insane from eating for a while though.

Rather than leave the planet, the modified themselves to be able to eat any form of matter. Also I find it fun trying to think of how bad powers could be use and the idea I came up with for door man was as a breach operator think rainbow six as he can allow a team of marines or swat to quickly enter a room from unsuspected angles. ...matter eater lad sounds scary, actually, since he can eat anything including whatever defenses you could put up to stop him, his powers are kinda better suited for support, rather than actual offense/defense, unless he snaps and decides to start taking bites out of people or something. (I'll admit he uses it poorly, but it's more of a sense of a bad user, not necessarily a bad power.)

My knowledge of her comics are very limited but I don't think Squirrel girl is a bad superhero idea. She's a joke hero and a parody of other super heroes, but she does it quite well. Her defeating strong supervillains in absurd ways seems to be a running gag for her from what I've seen.

I feel like the MHA universe is the one that sucks the most when it comes to superpowers. You can get something really cool, but only if you are born with a useful combo of your parents’ quirks (like Bakugou) or if your parents INTENTIONALLY try to give you specific powers (Like Todoroki, though given his home life he’s not very lucky). Other than that, it’s a total luck of the draw; you can end up with something weird but that could be useful if you’re super creative, but nine times out of ten you end up with a power that’s either stupidly mundane or even something utterly worthless (like bulging your eyes out of your head or having a giant ugly chin made of cement).

People always forget that when they talk about Aquaman, but even if he can just talk to fish, you'd be surprised how versatile and powerful that can be. It's not on the same scale as other superheroes, but just because he's not absolutely cracked like Superman or whatever doesn't mean he sucks, just means he's outclassed by incredibly overpowered aliens and gods and shit

...matter eater lad sounds scary, actually, since he can eat anything including whatever defenses you could put up to stop him, his powers are kinda better suited for support, rather than actual offense/defense, unless he snaps and decides to start taking bites out of people or something. (I'll admit he uses it poorly, but it's more of a sense of a bad user, not necessarily a bad power.)
I remember back at summer camp we were doing the thing where you go in a circle and explain something about you. Some kid said dog welder was his favorite super hero. That made all of us curious and for the next 20 minutes we learned about dog welder
Aquaman is on top end of super strengh speed (speedsters excluded) and endurance but he become significantly weakened when he is dehitrated.

My knowledge of her comics are very limited but I don't think Squirrel girl is a bad superhero idea. She's a joke hero and a parody of other super heroes, but she does it quite well. Her defeating strong supervillains in absurd ways seems to be a running gag for her from what I've seen.

I feel like the MHA universe is the one that sucks the most when it comes to superpowers. You can get something really cool, but only if you are born with a useful combo of your parents’ quirks (like Bakugou) or if your parents INTENTIONALLY try to give you specific powers (Like Todoroki, though given his home life he’s not very lucky). Other than that, it’s a total luck of the draw; you can end up with something weird but that could be useful if you’re super creative, but nine times out of ten you end up with a power that’s either stupidly mundane or even something utterly worthless (like bulging your eyes out of your head or having a giant ugly chin made of cement).

4:54 fun fact: dog welder found the welding equipment one day and then on just had a urge to weld dogs. Not only that but there’s an entire force of dog welders working together. He was once with them but ended up departing. The saddest part is that he used to like dogs and he’s FORCED AGAINST HIS OWN WILL TO WELD DOGS! So that makes him the saddest superhero.

What most people don't know is that Squirrel Girl's most powerfull ability is a meta/4th wall breaking joke, that the stronger her opponent is the more likely she is to defeat him. That's why she has defeated Thanos, Galactus and Dr. Doom but gets her ass handed to her by low level thugs from time to time.

The thing about Aquaman is that he basically rules the ENTIRE OCEAN, which, might I remind you, covers like 70% of the planet. People always forget that when they talk about Aquaman, but even if he can just talk to fish, you'd be surprised how versatile and powerful that can be. It's not on the same scale as other superheroes, but just because he's not absolutely cracked like Superman or whatever doesn't mean he sucks, just means he's outclassed by incredibly overpowered aliens and gods and shit
