    this videos kind of old but i'm going to try and ask here lol. I see audio is going through all 3 channels on your fx rack and when I group everything together, it only goes through the first chain and is muted through all the others. Why?
    Literally figured it out right after I wrote this.
    Mapping the chain selector to the macro got it working. Bigups for these tutorials man!

    i think the crossfades are too long, you dont get much range on the filters, but anyways this is cool idea

    • @snakedogman
      @snakedogman Рік тому

      You can definitely edit the ranges to be a bit shorter. I think it would work even smoother with a bandpass filter on the third chain. Because now it's weird that you are just fading in (when going from low to highpass) a fully unfiltered signal in the middle. But then you wouldn't have a completely unfiltered signal at the 12 o clock position of the controller.

    Can you automate the filter?

    • @djanishanand
      @djanishanand  Рік тому

      Yes you can. You can automate all the mappings in Ableton. You just need to move the parameters while you record.

    great tip thanks!
    how can I make this a general filter for all the tracks? I tried to make this as send but this does not seem to work..

    • @djanishanand
      @djanishanand  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks George, Glad you like it. Yes you can definitely make it as a return track, for that you need to map the Low/High Pass macro with the desired send knob and then map your send or filter macro with your midi controller encorder . This will surely work

    how do i make 64 the 0 of the filter. because at the moment at 64 is a 1k filter and 137 is 20k

    • @djanishanand
      @djanishanand  22 дні тому

      You need to create crossfades to the parameters. Obviously i wont be able to explain in the comments but i would suggest you to watch the video carefully around 07:30. I hope this will solve the issue. 🙂 Thanks for watching.
