Short answer: Yes. But in this video I go over the many reasons the Shelby GT350 makes for such a great daily driver. I talk about ride comfort, convince, etc. Also for my shameless plug, here's the link to my other channel "Texas Plinking": ua-cam.com/channels/cMyVNd-RXN96XbUl152rNQ.html Thanks for watching!
Bro, just bought a 2018 350 black/white stripe a couple of days ago, instantly fell in love and just to let u know, all the little questions about the features and personal things are being answered just by watching ur vids, keep it up this car is honestly priceless it's a baby and it's also a beautiful beastly monstrosity 👍
In my opinion easily. I do mine. Currently have 14000 miles on the car. Just ordered new rubber as well. And I agree with the other comments it is comfortable and a blast to drive. On the interstate I feel like a indy car driver and cant, literally cant keep the speed under 80. A few bursts here and there to 100 mph + ....... I will get a ticket but havent yet
You can put your sunglasses in that lined dash compartment too. Perfect fit for mine. And I agree on the manual trans. I drove only manuals for 30 yrs in Houston traffic, and only twice has it bothered me. Those were times I was in hour long backups due to major accidents. Love my 16 GT. It is a lot easier than my 87 to drive in traffic, and I drove that one for 24 years!
Love all your videos. You know more about this car than most salesmen. This is a must for anyone who is looking to buy a GT350. You have candid honest way of presenting information.
Good observation on the Manuel transmissions. We used to call them standard transmission because they were standard on all cars. Im 49. Everyone in my age bracket always had Manuels until we started having kids. I also don't think any of us bought this car to save fuel. We are averaging 11 right now. Mostly because it is new. We might get to 14 after we stop racing it everywhere. Legally and observing all speed laws of course ;)
I live in Oregon so the only thing that bothered me was the ground clearance, so thank you for talking about the ground clearance I now feel a lot better about getting one.
Easiest way to tell a 2016 Track Package from non is the navigation unit. You couldn't have the Electronics Package with Track. I love my 2017 GT350 and it's my daily driver, but I'm beginning to look for something a bit more comfortable.
On a scale 1-10 what would you rate it? Include daily drivability, interior, practicality, fun factor, comfort and technology. I love your videos, some of my favorites on UA-cam

So lucky! Im also in Cali, SoCal to be exact, and regular for gas right now is $3.88 by my house which is absolutely ridiculous! My dad drives a Lexus IS350 which needs premium and the price for that is around $4.15
The manual only got me thinking a bit. I drove manual for 6 years in Seattle area. In San Francisco area, the traffic is like bumper-to-bumper sometimes for an hour... I have DCT (F10 M5) for now. I totally hate automatic especially in traffic. Maybe I'm just weird. BTW, it's nice to hear that it got 16mpg which is better than mine at 13mpg...
melcon7 yes all cars with the tech pack have the magnetize suspension with the same suspension tune. You are thinking track pack which also has the trans and diff coolers, bigger spoiler in addition to the mangnaride.
My parents are from mexico too and they only drove manuals and to me manuals are way better than automatics but theres some automatic trans that shift really smooth and fast doe
Yes, it rides very well, has good tech interface and audio. FE can be actually ok too, 20 mpg. Trunk is large and yea the rear seat is useless for anyone over 5’ 6”.
Hey Brandon. Just checked out your other channel. I see that you recently got a Bushmaster ACR. What made you get the ACR as to say, a SCAR 16/17s? (I didn't watch those other videos yet, so you might've answered it there). The FN SCAR series are among my favorite American (Belgian) rifles.
Hey Kyle, thanks for checking out my other channel! To answer your question, I do love the SCAR a ton. Or any FN product for that matter. But I wouldn't want a SCAR in 5.56 personally. So the SCAR for me would be the 17S. And the reason I didn't get that is because most of the shooting I do is at a gun range that doesn't allow calibers larger than 5.56 at their tactical bays were I can rapid fire and really have fun. (I know, dumb rule) With that said, my friend picked up his SCAR 17S a few days ago and I helped him set it up. It is stunning and I would love to own one soon! On top of that, I really do love the ACR as well so it would be ideal to own both :)
I agree with you on the auto to manual thing, like it's weird for me to drive autos. I plan to get a Model X in a year or so but I still plan to have a manual as well as a weekender/2nd car. Can't decide between a Vette, Mustang, or Viper but that's about 3 to 4yrs from now so I got plenty of time to figure that out.
My biggest regret to this day was not having the balls to commit to a manual transmission for my first car - I would have gotten an Evo if I did - but I'm still young and I have time to change and try something new (or technically old).
Excellent info to know, appreciate the thorough review & feedback provided. Re: the Recaro seats, have you taken any long trips & if so how comfortable were they to/fro? Debating whether the partial leather/power seats might be better for a daily driver. To me the Recaro's look better & are lighter but I'm 6'3" height, 195lbs & 36" waistline so uncertain if the Recaro's or power seats might work better for me. The power seats are difficult to find for a 17 (since limited availability) but are an available option for any 18. I've sat in the Recaro's & they seemed alright to me but I'm not used to racing seats & have generally always had a power seat in my cars. Prolly makes sense to find one with power seats to compare. Do you have a wrap or comparable on the front end & hood or a nose mask to protect from rock chips, etc. I've always had nosemasks for my vehicles but would hide that awesome looking front end. Uncertain what it costs to get a wrap done. Peace/out
I've read about people using this coating called paintshield 5720 that's supposed to be like a temporary clear bra that you apply to your car for that exact purpose. Give it a google search! :D
As for comfort, you're really not sacrificing anything with the Recaros. It just depends on if you want electric adjustably as well as heated & ventilated seats.
I'm 16 and I want this 350 model so badly. But now they discontinued it for the gt500. I'm still in high school so when I have a regular job when I'm older, I have no idea how I'm gonna be able to get a 350. Or at least a nice one with not a lot of miles on it.
