Silver mountain water last a whole day for me. Lots of positive compliments. Don't be deterred by this.
For me it doesn't last more than 5-6h. And yes, before you ask, it's the original one purchased from their official store.

As a woman, I wear Creed Original Santal. It’s my signature scent to wear to weddings and the like. It may lean masculine but it works very well with my body chemistry.

Creed Viking is one of my most complimented fragrance of all times. It's one of the greatest creations from creed. You guys need to develop your noses for such a masterpiece.
Yeah Wtf they didn't like silver mountain water when that was my most complimented fragrance. To the masses these fragrances garner massive compliments
I got Viking as a gift and I’m with these girls… not for me. From Creed I like Aventus Cologne, Virgin Island, and Silver Mountain.
They’re young and mostly like sweet smells like some women but some women love the mainly scents
Fougeres don't always have that initial nice opening like sweet or citrus, Viking can be harsh especially first 10min AND they only smelled it on paper. Such a great fragrance as it dries down
Viking is a cologne YOU have to wear or it'll wear you. Not everyone can pull it off. Mans scent
Aventus and Original Santal have been my favorite Creed fragrances for years.
What do you think of Viking Cologne? I agree about Viking, but the cologne version is nice and fresh. The spice you find in Viking is subtle in the background in Cologne.
Always get compliments when I wear Silver Mountain Water. Erolfa is king on a hot summers day

I love original santal, my top 10 creeds are in no particular order milliseme imperial,royal water,green irish tweed,virgin island water,himalaya,aventus cologne,erolfa,original vetiver,neroli sauvage and aventus the old batches

I purchased Original Santal in Spain this year while on vacation and it’s my go to Creed fragrance…most underrated and/or unknown Creed scent! It’s amazing and recommend anyone just coming into Niche fragrances put this in your collection.
It’s not underrated or unknown, it has been mentioned on many channels. Simply put, all creed scents besides Aventis can be labeled as underrated, due to the success of Aventis.
GIT is my go to fragrance. Bois du Portugal is my second. I'm 55 so I am the right age for Bois. I do like Creed overall except the price.
Original Santal is nice, so agreed there. It’s funny how subjective smell is though. I love Viking and it’s easily the most complemented fragrance I own.
Man I do not own Viking but I love the smell and I Think I'm going to buy it soon, I can't believe what these ladies said about it.

Try doing this with Nishane. The only one I haven’t loved so far is Fan Your Flames. Hacivat, Nefs, Ani, Sultan Vetiver, Pachuli Kozha all excellent.
If you'd tried a newer batch of Aventus I'd be surprised if you marked it anywhere near as high as you did for the 2016 batch..

My top 5 from Creed are Original Vetiver, Virgin Island Water, Spice and Woods, Bois du Portugal, Green Irish Tweed (only the deep dry down).
I would say Royal Oud is the best, and then Aventus & Original Santal tied for second.
Aventus has been my most complimented fragrance. Everyone will compliment you when you walk past them. Silver mountain water caught my attention once I smelled it then after trying it again, it gave me a headache.

Wow I can’t believe the hate for Viking. Absolutely amazing scent. Very warm and cozy. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. My fave of all time though is BDP. The dry down on my skin is just pure heaven.
Too masculine and old school, tjry should have tried Cologne.

Same here. My favorite cologne bar none. I think it’s because people don’t like the opening.
I did not like the opening of BDP but the dry down.... oh wow... I couldn't stop sniffing my arm the next day

Original Santal has a lot in common with Joop Homme but more sophisticated. Bois de Portugal is one of my favourites along with aventus GIT and Royal Iud all purchased around 2017 in 4oz fkacons. Royal Oud is an exceptionally well balanced frag. Angelica pink pepper, creeds signature musk and a hefty dose of cedar wood. Very suave and sophisticated like BdP for a more distinguished gentleman in a formal setting. My GIT is nuclear with violet leave and ionone giving a fresh spring green soap accord again nuclear sillage and longevity. Enjoyed your gid
I have Virgin island water, silver mountain water, Aventus, millisim imperial and Aventus cologne. Aventus cologne is my most complimented. Women always ask what I’m wearing. Silver mountain water I liked at first, but now it just gives me a headache. Original santal is way too sweet smelling. Probably my least favorite I’ve tried. Viking and Viking cologne kind of smells like licorice and old spice. Better off just buying old spice.

Erolfa is my favorite Creed scent. It smells like an aquatic sea breeze, very clean linen smell with a salty aquatic breeze mixed in there.
How long u say it last on your skin?
It becomes a skin scent pretty quick. Creed makes amazing scents but most of them aren’t attention seekers. If you’re looking for a beast I’d say Irish tweed is their strongest scent trail.
@@jonathandowney7291 also the thing about erolfa is once you heat up your sweat pops out the sea breeze smell even more so it turns into I’d say about a 1ft scent bubble.
I have original santal its one of my favourites have you tried royal water it smells amazing also and not many people know to much about it
Its so nice to see, that you two completely missed the chance to smell one of the best Creed Fragrances, which is viking, because you judged it way too quickly. Its nice because now it continues to stay under the radar for most people. Let everyone buy there aventus and smell mainstream. Viking is for a real men who knows what he wants and is mature, takes responsibility etc. etc. After half a hour, but certainly after one hour it becomes one of the most pleasant and confident smelling perfumes I know. It is old school and it is more like a barbershop smell and has fougere vibes, but its done so good.

Im 25 but i like really old school stuff and i just tried bois du Portugal, deffintly my favorite, i also tried viking cause everyone says it smells like old spice……its the first old school ish fragrance i hate! I have gone for 10 hours now wondering why…..hospital!! It smells of hospital! Its as u say, surprisingly medicinal! I mean… WHYYYY?! 😭😭😭
2016 that's a killer batch of Aventus, the quality of Creed is top notch I'll say Royal Water is probably the "worst" Creed I've tried, great review

I smelled a newer batch and I still liked it, but I don’t think it would last very long
@@eauderica Yes, newer batch is reformulated because Creed is owned by BlackRock now. Also BlackRock pushes climate change policies on companies they own, so there are certain ingredients that Creed used to use for Aventus that gave it spark and longevity that they cannot use anymore.

I think the best aventus fragrance is probably original santal honestly love that stuff. But millesime imperial is a close 2nd. And 3rd would probably be aventus or virgin island water. But so many good fragrances I love royal oud and himalaya too

For some reason Aventus doesn’t work for me. It smells so good when sprayed on clothing but on my skin not so much. Green Irish Tweed on the other hand, is amazing on me. I’ve gotten so many compliments 👌🏼

I've always wanted to try Original Santel. I've only experienced the profile through Mont Blanc Individuel, which is a twist on it. I'm sure I'd love Santel cuz I love Sandalwood.
It's a weird one. It's very unique. Not my cup of tea though.
Buy the original perfume that Creed is cloning, Mont Blanc Individuel and it will also save you money :)) Also surprised to see they don't love SMW, a lot of women actually want to wear it.

Never smelled Original Santal but if its anything close to Joop then it's a big big pass for me:)). Favourite Creeds are Original Vetiver, Virgin island Water, Aventus, Royal Oud. Nice video
It's a nice one for the cooler/ cold weather, but too strong for Netflix and chill nights imo.
Took me years to come around to Original Santal. I like it now, but for Creed sandalwoods, I prefer both Bois de Santal and Santal Imperial.

I'm back here to tell you I bought the original Santal. It's really very nice. I love it 100%, also today I orderd the Bois Du Portugal and Erolfa. they say these two are also so beautiful, it can be everyone love these too.

Green Irish Tweed is not at all like Davidoff cool water. Davidoff cool water is an aquatic watery oceanic scent whereas GIT is a typical green scent with freshly cut grass vibe. Very refreshingly scent ❤❤❤❤

top scorers are Original Santal, Aventus and Green Irish Tweed. The flops are Viking and Silver Mountain Water.
I bet it will be Royal Oud. I tried them all It's honestly SO amazing and likeable. Brought it home and other samples home, and all of the family loved it unanimously.
Unfortunately they did not like Royal Oud like a lot of fragrance reviewers, but it is still a good introduction to Oud fragrances for folks that are not into Oud fragrances or new to Oud.
I would've said millesime imperial & original santal as their top 2, I haven't watched the video yet so i'll see if i'm right
Royal Oud and Neroli Sauvage are probably the two best Creed’s I’ve ever smelled. Aventus being number three. Royal Oud is a fragrantical master piece. A true magnum opus.
And both of you ladies also have wrong perceptions of silver mountain water and royal oud. I literally don't know what you ladies are doing there except the review of Aventus.
Silver mountain is my favorite one and the aventus and viking. I got a lot of compliments from silver more than aventus 🤷🏻♂️

You should try Royal Water by Creed. Another one under the radar which is really good.
Original santal is my go to fall and spring. second is taborome for me in the winter and virgin island in the summer.
I'm one of the rare people that hates Aventus. I don't get the hype, it smells like burnt birch and is such a linear scent. and GIT smells like Irish Spring bar soap. I'm convinced Creed makes fragrances exclusively for old men.

@@eauderica Thanks 😊I was frankly annoyed enough by Aventus batch variation to just move on to other frags and not worry about it too much, but I had to ask. I was surprised the other day to see an online retailer selling many variants of Aventus, listing out the batch code for each and listing each at a customized price.

Bois Du Portugal-Golden Age Hollywood for the established man who has made a dent in the universe. Frank Sinatra meets Pierce Brosnan. The dry down is out of this world.
Aventus-The King..can’t argue with that. Today’s entrepreneur
Original Santal-Seductive Class. You both had a surprise. Just know performance isn’t very stout.
Silver Mountain Water-at least you won’t smell plain..
Viking-The best of the bunch. Don’t hate. Sharp and clean. Office safe signature scent.
Royal Oud-Light and clean oud for the man who wants to experience his first oud fragrance.

Creed viking is amazing. In the air it's incredible. But putting your nose right up to it after spraying it can turn you off to it.
Well well, I will certainly be checking out Santal, because I haven’t. I had no idea it was almost an 18-year-old release. The notes look interesting and like something I would like. They are certainly niche, but simple, just as its age would probably suggest. It sounds quite alluring. Sweet friend also, who likes the occasional cigar. ;) Much to learn about you two, haha.

Original santal is just clone of mont blanc individuel which is also great but discontinued still easy to find though
Original Santal is a 1-to-1 clone of Joop! Homme from the 80s. You can find those bottles at Marshall’s for about $15. The aforementioned Mont Blanc individual is also a clone of this same cheapie. Seriously, go smell both and get back to me 😂
@@masonklein Joop homme is not even close to either of them lmao. I've had joop homme and smelled the vintage versions of that it's nothing alike.
I love santal, got a small sample from a dept. store couple years ago. Tried it and got a whole bottle after that. It is the sweetest EDT I have, and I don't like sweet. At the top is a gooey sweet cinnabun. but that goes away very, very quickly and you are left with this warm, spicy clove, cinnamon, musk type scent, drying down to no clove mild spices and still just a little sweet. Its just heaven. One of my favorite, favorite Creed with GreenIrishTweed Creed right behind. I have never settled on Aventus because that fruit thing doesn't fade away and give room for the classic Creed dry down of Ambergris, sandalwood etc. I hate to say this but the fruity thing hangs on way too long and with the classic Creed base notes it smells like sweet sewage. I know, Yuk. Bois du Portugal? Absolute tops but then I'm approaching social security age so...
Viking I found so dusty and dry... I will say though for Royal oud, it does open a bit like an ash tray, but when you spray it on skin, it does settle very smooth, ambery and resinous.
Aww man, that breaks my heart because I fell in love with the Silver Mountain Water - so refreshing. And the Virgin Island Water has this beautiful lime and coconut scent too.
(Not a big fan of Green Irish Tweed - too mild and too medicinal for me. Smells more like something you buy at a pharmacy. 😂)

Since you liked the Original Santal, you should try Mont Blanc Individuel. It's the fragrance that Creed was "inspired" by.
Pierre Bourdon was the creator of the most Creeds, same for original sandal and individual! He is the genius perfumer!

Viking is top notch!! Old school barbershop vibe. BDP is definitely an older gentleman’s scent. Be hard for young bucks to pull that off. This is the only review where they claim original Santal as the best. Any other review puts that @ the bottom. @ the end of the day, get what you enjoy. I have 6 different Creeds, & love em all.
The dry down is where it’s at with GIT
she sprayed the green irish so much on paper that i'd spray that much in 3 days. it's almost 80k Rupees if ja vvanna get that perfume.
That 120ml GIT is way better than those 100mls that Creed sells nowadays.
I absolutely love Green Irish Tweed, took me 4 months to pull the trigger, really great scent, lasts about 5 hours on my skin, not the greatest, but incomparable.
I ain’t gone lie if I spend $500 on a cologne that shit better perform like Dior elixir 😭

@@alyxms5826 its about skin chemistry. I got a 2021 batch of Green Irish Tweed and it lasts on me all day long, from morning to evening. Try it on yourself first.
@@mollysnipez5251 same with me. I know its a skin chemistry thing, but no way aventus lasts 1-2 hours like many people claim. Either they just get nose blind or they got some fake shit.

When your nose touches the paper you don’t really smell anything anymore because you’re wiping the fragrance on your nose 😅

You girls are testing silver mountain water wrong. It needs to be tested on skin and you HAVE to wait for that dry down, at least 1.5 hours. It becomes very smooth, lightly creamy airy and magnificent and it just continues to get better thereafter. Never apply on clothes, just skin, and it will hit you. You will be wondering where that came from all of a sudden, trust me!
Also you missed Original Vetiver, to me the second best Creed. Creamy, spicy soapy and luxurious(once again wait for the initial dry down, 20 min+). In order of preference, GIT, Original Vetiver, Original Santal, joint Aventus and SMW, and finally Millesime Imperial. Mind you, very little separating the last 4 after GIT and OV which are the stand outs in my view but all are in my top quartile of fragrances I own.
Original Santal is my signature scent 😊
