I've had a very positive experience on both Zazzle and RedBubble. Zazzle was kinder to me when I was inexperienced (uploading the kind of designs that Merch would have me banned for). Besides that, Zazzle is much more versatile in the sort of designs you may create and the product variety and customer personalization options they have are simply unparalleled. On the other hand, margins are significantly lower than RedBubble and the traffic is lower, too.
I sent a fan some merch on Red Bubble from the States to South Africa--shipping was literally like $70 on a $30 order. Rather than South Africa, Red Bubble sent it to Australia where it got lost in the mail. Red Bubble sent out a replacement order...to...AUSTRALIA, where it got lost in the mail AGAIN... 5 MONTHS LATER, our fan FINALLY got her mugs . Need a POD located on different continents to avoid this in the future :/
I started a store on RB, then watched a bunch of YT videos about branding, so I realized i needed to change my store name. Because RB doesn't let you do that, I opened a new store, and was copying 2 of my listings over, and RB 's bot caught that I was posting duplicates, which it either doesn't like dupes or it thought i was ripping off another store (which was my own). And then BAM, your store is suspended and all of the work I spent a week doing was gone. I went through every hoop to explain what I was doing, and they didn't care, didnt respond, didn't help and never restored the shop. They don't care at all. They tell you in the contract, we can boot you at any time and don't have to give a reason, and don't have to respond to your email. That's the shittiest policy ever. There should be some way to reach a human to at least discuss the issue. I wasn't trying to get away with anything shady.
Sorry to hear that! I just going to do something you did as I want to customize my personal shop name, but it is link up with the user name which we cannot update. So I planned to open a new account to do so just like you~~

Yeah, this is why I prefer Zazzle. From my own experience as well, they treat their users better and if you did something you shouldn’t they warn you to change it or prevent you from uploading it. Red bubble just bans you without explanation or a chance to fix the mistake lol.

Just like a bar owner doesn't set up their bar and call that passive income... it's just another buzzword that doesn't really mean anything (like side-hustle. A simpler word is "second or third job".) A hustle means a swindle.

I recently designed a tshirt and ordered it. I usually wear a medium, but I got an XL because I remembered seeing someplace that the clothing is a little small. I can't even put it on, it's so small! It says XL but is way smaller than all of my size Medium t's. A little annoyed at that. But, I have heard Zazzle is really great for such things as cards and invitations.
I stopped using zazzle Because you can not upload for multiple products. So frustrating! Redouble teepublic a few minutes to upload to all products. The same will take a day on zazzle.
I have taken a look into statistics and zazzle is now in a better position than redbubble, zazzle is getting better each day, you could update this video and show now that zazzle is much better

Good because I do have a shop in zazzle and I have no clue on how to operate it like those percentage things at the beginning like collection and product they are both on 15%.
I have had a phenomenal experience there especially with the various upload Automation software that take the time out of the equation, so there really is only effort part which if I, going to take the time to work on other platforms I might as well upload to Zazzle as well.
