Well Juna, with the help from yourself and a couple of others, I created a Redbubble account August 27th, I only put up 1 test design on a bunch of different products that was on trend. I sold my first t-shirt with that design on September 1st. Thanks a bunch!
My first 4 sales were because I made my sister and friends buy my stuff! Lol! But I actually made my first real sale this week! I have a little over 100 designs and I have been on RB for 2 months.

Hi Thanks for the video.I gave up because I had over 400 designs and made 2 sales , which I think were from friends who wanted to help.(got discouraged and gave up)Many of them were as you said in first tip, just things I liked.I have decided to start over and I was wondering if i should change my designs or start a new shops.Great video.

Thank u for the tips , I joined redbubble a week ago and I have uploaded 10 designs,no sales but 7 favourites and I will follow your tips ,hopefully I will get sales soon 🤞
I've not made a sale yet after a month but to be fair, I've been a bit lazy and also a bit distracted. I've only got 3 designs, so I'm not discouraged. I'm trying to cram quite a bit in - I signed up to placeit premium to get going but I find it a bit limiting so I've been concentrating on learning graphic design from zero knowledge (I'm using affinity designer) so that I can eventually stand out a bit more. I'm not in a major rush, I'm in my early 50s with a part time job and was looking for a way to work from home so I can give up needing an employer and my time is mine. I started researching POD 2 - 3 months ago and have learned sooo much already. I'm loving it. Thanks Juna, you have been a big part of my POD journey so far 😊
I got my first sale 2.5 weeks after opening. I had 70 items uploaded at the time. It was only £3.14 profit, but it really spurred me on to create more designs 😊 I've focused on quality and created the largest pixel size to enable the biggest product range. I also got 3 followers and 63 favourited within that period, which I think shows people like the designs. I'm uploading 10 images a day 5 days a week, primarily to be consistent. My goal is 1,000, which will take five months. Hopefully, I can slow down a bit then 😂
haha you have one of my cat masks up there I thought I would never see it the grumpy persian cat mask I called it it is in the top row 7th across just nice to see it up there.
First sale is really easy. On day one even. You just find a friend. Make the best design for them, your friend(preferably family member), ask them if they like it, fix it if you have to, they buy it. That's it. You start your store with 1 sale already. Make sure the design looks really great. 🍀🍀
awesome vid....hope I'll end up making my first sale soon as well. It's a bit annoying and tempting that those people posting artwork from TV shows such as "Gravity Falls" win spotlight while genuine artists have to await their first purchase still, but i'll just keep my own
*1 to 3 months before sale Create 50- 200 design *Look for trends on red bubble *Create design base on events that month * Provide the buyer SOMETHING THEY WANT *Low niche down *Upload every day, be consistent *Designing for the product *Upload to multiple products * Upload better design than the competition * Use relevant tag and keywords
As I am newbie in this POD field, I would like to ask you whether It is OK to use canvas size 4500 x 5400 px or 5000 x 5000 px to be applied on duvet, comforter, tapestry, bath mat, sock? I am using canva, so it can not be larger canvas, thank you so much
So RedBubble recommends 7632x6480 for Duvet Covers, Comforters and Tapestries. 6480x4320 for Bath Mats. 5848x6300 for socks. I think your 4500x5000 or 5000x5000 will work if you use a background color or do a pattern but it will not cover the whole area by itself. Hope that helps
@@DetourShirts I use these dimensions and a nice background color to frame it. Actually looks better so that the image is centered on the bed cover, not hanging off the sides.

Not sure what app you are using on your phone but if you follow the size guides on RedBubble the designs should fit.... I would design as big as your biggest size and then size down on the product level when you upload.... 9600 x 9600 is huge I know but should cover most of the products on RedBubble.

Thanks Kunal for the reminder and value able tips. Tel me something, are you having problems on RB with the copy settings option when trying to replicate it from one of your designs? I'm finding it difficult to save time this way and I have logged a query about it and they said that they are aware of the issue.
Ok let's say I try the "combining" two niches... how to validate that? How to know if people will search "fishing & rock music" for instance? Because if not, well... no results til the afterlife. Hope my question makes sense.
You never really know but if there is a big enough audience for fishing and a big enough audience for rock music chances are there is an overlap... BTW a fishing rock music design could be pretty awesome if done right
@@DetourShirts Well personally I don't play the guessing game. After having some success in dropshipping, I learned that online business is all about pure numbers, and I learned the "don't reinvent the wheel" thing the hard way. So I'll invest a lot of time in research and validation first before inventing something and pray I hit the jackpot. You're teaching people wrong if all your content is about the "hope method".

Thanks Kunal for the reminder and value able tips.
Tel me something, are you having problems on RB with the copy settings option when trying to replicate it from one of your designs? I'm finding it difficult to save time this way and I have logged a query about it and they said that they are aware of the issue.
Yes... sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't... not sure why
@@DetourShirts oh. So are you having the same problem too?
Great and clear strategy ❄️❄️
Thanks... glad I could help
