      Seconds ones pretty much finished, and the 3rd is being built.
      The MinuteMan ICBMs are either about to be or are replaced or are partially replaced the Sentenal.
      China and Russia finally have their "5th gen fighters" which are actually more like 4.5+ based on US standards of stealth.
      Meanwhile the US has its first 6th gen bomber the B-21 raider rolling off the assembly line.
      The two separate 6th gen fighters being built for the Airforce and Navy l, both confusingly called the NGAD or Next Generation Air Dominace programs, are set to pick a contractor/final design next spring.
      The Blackhawks are all being replaced with the V-280 Valor Tiltrotor
      The Retired Kiowa Scout Helicopter is finally being replaced with the contractor/design being chosen soon. Then Apaches can stop working double duty as makeshift scouts.
      We should be getting 1000 Loyal Wingman drones to work alongside F-35 and the new 6th gen fighters.
      The new Constilation class of frigates is being rushed into production with 20 ships total.
      Along with lots of other interesting goings on with dialable yield nukes for fighter sized aircraft and such.

      You could safely bet on that. One of our recent Presidents slipped, and admitted to having the ability to take “ET” back home!
      The world was shocked by the Apache helicopter, and I witnessed them flying over APG for several years before they were announced. Same goes for the F117, the F22, the B-one, B2 and even the F35 series to some degree. But that one got leaked early in Popular Science magazine.
      Only an idiot would think all those military satellites are for observation and communication! The government has plenty of secret weapons tucked away just in case.

  • @Nimbus1701
    @Nimbus1701 6 місяців тому +8

    The nuclear weapons (406) mentioned are just the ones on land. I think the US has over 5200 of them and Russia has more than that. However, during the height of the cold war it was estimated that each country had over 15 thousand and many of them were in the megaton range, so there has been quite a bit of progress in the aim to reduce these weapons. Due to current world events and the fact that Russia has backed out of some treaties related to nuclear weapons, the US has started newer research and upgrades. I think the largest deployed nuclear warhead is the B-83 at 1.2 megatons. The US uses something in its weapons called dialable yield which means it can be adjusted before launch to the desired yield of explosive. Scary times. Cold war 2.0.

      There are 400 missles, all of which carry multiple warheads, which can be independently targeted. The submarines can carry 20 ballistic missles, each with 10 warheads. @@kokomo9764Russia has more "tactical" nukes. They do not have the range to hit the U.S. we have several hundred more ballistic nukes than they do. Also if it ever came to it, 90%ish of the Russian population is in the western 1/3 of the country, our population is spread out alot further, and thermonucular warheads don't have near the fallout of the old plutonium type. Most are amazed at the military technology. Others are in awe of the trickle down to civilian life. Still others are awed by the insane expense to the “Government “, not realizing that the “Government “ has no money! They are spending the people’s money on all of this. As a citizen, I can expect my Great Grandchildren to be stuck paying for all of this!
    The rest of the freedom loving nations reap the rewards of this without paying hardly anything in comparison. But we are still frowned upon as war mongers! I have yet to witness any meaningful act of gratitude by most of the nations who have, do, and will continue to enjoy freedom from oppression because of all this. It makes wonder just how naive most people are. If we. Turned off the US Military machine for just one month, what would be the end result?
