One type of film I think needs more audio description

While I’m glad that the number of audio described films out there continues to increase, I’m also glad that the number of older movies getting AD are also increasing. I do have some thoughts about this though, and a concern as well.
I know classic films aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I think it wouldn’t be fair if the well known classic films are left without any sort of access to blind viewers. Especially if they’ve heard of the film, but haven’t ever been able to watch it for themselves.
While I mentioned Stanley Kubrick and Alfred Hitchcock in here, I do want to say that I’ve ran into at least 3 films from them that do have human narrated AD.
