Imagine you start playing some ranked games, still learning the game and all and boom you get matched with the viper xD poor guy
A much needed addition to any RTS. It took a while, but it's good progress to have ranked. Watching the game, I have a sense that it's a bit choppy and the transitions are really abrupt, whereas watching AoE2 is so smooth and the sound design is much more relaxing.

I don't understand what you mean by "My first Aoe4 Ranked Game"; is this an old match or has ranked just recently been released? I don't really follow the game that much.

Do you think fb and aoe4 aproach good for you? On twitch you have 4k viewers on live stream vs 400 on fb. Aoe2 youtube videos seen 20k views vs 2k views aoe4. No comment..
I kinda think the aoe 2 pro scene has committed suicide after aoe 4 released… not much good content anymore :(

From his recent posts, it sure looks like Viper is focusing much more on AOE4 than AOE2. That's a shame.
Our opinions differ. I know your opinion is more popular, but I admire his courage to test his feet in new waters.
I'm sure Viper has a deal with Microsoft like what they did with their failed streaming service.
He said on stream he will focus on Aoe4 until Golden League is over, and then you can expect some Aoe2 content :)
