Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a real-time strategy video game by Westwood Pacific, which was released for Microsoft Windows on October 23, 2000 as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Red Alert 2 picks up at the conclusion of the Allied campaign of the first game. Its expansion is Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge.

Oh man I absolutely love capturing an airfield while being the USA and gaining a double paratrooper drop, so good.
As a kid I always tried recreating the feeling of an airborne invasion that way!

Same man.. RedAlert2 is my first game to play back when I was just a 4 yrs old boi. aahh.. good times.. my skill at this game has deteriorated. Like I kid you not, my building speed when I was a little boi (7 yrs old btw) was insane..
0:31 s is a key to win this game, when u can see everything at the map, u can know where they come and what terrain and resources around you

I loved this game so much.. many o year spent playing ToE 3v3, first to elite Boris BFS and prism tanks won. though my personal fave playstyle was endless fleet of Elite Rhino tanks!!
When you got the map reveal at the begining... Now you know what the enemy is doing and that is great
Yes, it helps, but better if you chose soviets or Yuri, becouse the Allied can build a satellite that reveals the whole map.

A well established base is when you have defenses on outer perimeter and that gives you time to do missions and to beef up your base and sell structures that are placed in wrong location

You can just google "Yuri's Revenge Full Game Download" and then click on the first link. It's from moddeddb, you can just extract the .rar file then play the game. You can also download map files so you won't get bored of the pre-installed maps, I have 5000 maps lol.

I am suprised that AI haven't used any demolition trucks + iron curtain / tanks nor tanya/seals also no nuke missles and lighning storms onto your base. Is computer with yuri's revenge broken on brutal?
I used to play it everyday 3 years ago. One of the most loved game of mine. The others are half life 2, nfs most wanted, gta vice city. Ohh i have no time to play anymore cause I have to work. I missed

Ahhhh. So nostalgic. Btw, as an Allied. After the battle lab is built, the game is over. I mean, you cant lose anymore at that point. Just spam ur base with mirage tanks and a bunch of battle fortress mounted with guardian gi's, ur invincible
Mass of superweapons at the same time + few attacks can send u to hell in any time :D
@@zoom3000 yeah it could. But if you're quick enough you can avoid that, it's really challenging and fun. Could defeat bunch of them before they could even build their own superweapons
And then you start looking at iron curtain coated apocalypse tanks in your base... both teams have their tricks no doubt but it was a good balanced game nevertheless

Impressive speed but not so easy whilst playing with a like minded player on multiplayer, I've found spies and using the chronospere to dump enemy tanks into the sea a useful tool as well as dumping ships onto land effective

Go to your game folder > Search for "RA2.ini" file and edit the "Video" options like that:

Usually i play with superweapons on. And becouse I use this option, it prevents me from emphasizing the game's "micro" like "using Tanya, but only the "macro.
Myabe ill do some few 7 vs 1 without superweapons, which will allow me to play some different tactics.
Been 20 years since I played this game. I bought the book for the first game. Just to find all the Easter Eggs...

You can get the entire Command and Conquer Collection on Origin for $10. It's super cheap right now and definitely worth the price. Plus there's CnC.net that allows you to play in 1920x1080 resolution, and with other players too.

Ra2 was best stratigy game ever, yes allied was more effective but russia also great power,u play like i do expect i use rally for flight, 👍
The only thing I least liked about RA2 is that there is low money. That's why I choose maps with a lot of money, which will be more actionable in the game.
