I'm staying with my family at the little mermaid room for the first time this weekend and this video was amazing help to know how to get around and what to do!!

I love doing resort reviews because I feel like showing people what I wanted to see and know before I stayed somewhere and it seems like a lot of reviews kinda expect you to have at least a previous working knowledge of the resort - and I was always like "Hey, I drive down from Georgia, I dont live 10 minutes away, I want to know what to expect so I dont spend the first day+ trying to get my bearings" LOL ...hope you have a great trip!

9 times out of 10 we will always pick Arts or Pop of any other resort just for the skyliner & how much access it gives us to hopping around WDW. We genuinely love Arts though!!

When you keep stating throughout the video that you came from Georgia, which was at 12 degrees; I was thinking 12 degrees Celsius. But then when you stated that you traveled to Florida and it was 74 degrees Fahrenheit, I was like "Is he saying that Georgia has temperatures that low?"
That is nuts! It just never registers in my mind that Georgia, being almost level with CA has temperatures that low. Then again, I am at the mouth of the south (haha...rhymes), KY, and I was surprised when I moved here that it actually snows and gets to 0 (yes, 0 degrees Fahrenheit). Weirdly enough, I grew up in CA and it would never get low, especially since the city I live in now is lower elevation than the ones I was raised in, in CA.

I am surprised that they did not spray paint the plants and trees in the Little Mermaid section to make it more themed. The Lion King section with the music was interesting. I wonder if it gets annoying for people walking through it (who actually stay at that section). Would be better if it played if a motion sensor was tripped.

I unpack, but I put everything on the second bed (if I have two queens). If I have one bed, I will put everything I take out close to my bag, to put back in. If I put anything in drawers, there is a high chance I will forget it.

Do you happen to know if bell services can take you and your luggage to the little mermaid section?

I would assume they could do that if you asked them...I really havent used them for anything other than a place to leave my bags and go to the parks when my room wasnt ready

If you online check in, how do you get your hotel keys on arrival? Would you still have to wait in a line to pick those up?

they dont have a hard key unless you go ask them for a credit card type key...otherwise you just use you magic ban or scan the app on your phone on the keypad on the door of the rooms!
