I never really understood why people hated Goblin Slayer so much. Maybe it's just reddit and myanimelist people being mega toxic, but it feels like this got even more hate than SAO lmao. Like, people reaaaally HATE it with a passion. It's a nice story imo. The worldbuilding and character designs are definitely cool, and that's already something I can't say from a lot of fantasy/isekai stuff that came out in the last 10 years. While the story is mid, it's defo not "worse" than the average isekai shows. I'm not a huge fan, but had a lot of fun with it and it actually showed me that we should appreciate the people who take care of the small problems, literally being the reason why they stay small

qui avait compris que goblin slayer etait un immense D&D moi j'ai capter apres avoir jouer à baldur's gate 3 j'ai eu super envie de remater goblin slayer bizzarement apres avoir exterminer les gobelin de ma partie durant l'act 1 de baldur's gate 3 genre mon cerveau à fait un lien tout seul alors que sa fesait longtemps que j'avait regarder l'anime quel révélation pour moi quand j'ai réaliser sans lire le synopsis qui le dit clairement y'avait tout les détails que seul un joueur D&D pouvez comprendre choses que j'ai compris que récemment en y jouant moi même avec des amis et en jouant à baldur's gate 3
It's literally just the first episode that has a notorious goblin scene, the anime isn't any of that, you'll enjoy it, I promise 👍 just don't watch redo of healer lol
At it's hearth it's a story about trauma and overcoming it. People just took issue with the show actually depicting that trauma instead of insinuating it in the first episode. And it's not misogynistic at all, the most powerful characters in the show are 3 girls and there are plenty of women in positions of power and authority throughout it despite the medieval setting.

I don't think it's in the slightest a gentle music. If a song isn't a deathmetal it doesn't make it soft in any way. This one in a way sounds like something from Skyrim or Dark Souls type of game, which is exactly the world of Golbin Slayer. It's basucaly a DND campaign, it's even in the lore of the anime that Gods throw D20 to decide peoples fate.
The opening is great, but why and how could you fuck this up so royally by cutting the end like, a literal second too soon to go to your jingle or whatever it is?
