- This is the shortest we’ve ever went. A lot of people were gonna be mad but she did what mad her happy 🖤. She wears her hair curly year around and usually cuts it in the winter. Don’t worry her hair grows fast and will be back in no time. We colored her hair a nice fall brown 8N by Pravanna was used with a 30 volume developer.

I don't think people get mad about haircuts, its the way some hairdresser's are scissor happy and you can see when the client is unhappy. This is what the client asked for so no one should be mad.

I totally agree that a stylist CAN go beyond what a customer wants when there is a miscommunication. But I disagree that there aren't people who get angry about a hair cut. Some folks lose their minds even if it is what a customer wants and it isn't their hair. They love long hair even when it isn't particularly healthy or flattering and they will never understand why others don't feel the same. I've encountered such folks.
I personally have never worshipped at the church of long hair or the church of straight hair. I've seen too many hair styles of different lengths and textures that were fabulous.

When you cut a lot of hair you feel lighter due to weight but also lighter in time spent and feel lighter in spirit.

@@candi1904 God said a women hair is her Crown in Glory! Don't cut it off! My hair is on my back and i do get it trim every 6 months and i have cut 6inches off in the past 2yrs, but now i just take care of it and let it grow.
@@candi1904 I have always had long hair and I’ve cut my hair SEVERAL times throughout my 23 years of living. Hair doesn’t make you more or less “feminine”. It’s ultimately about how you present yourself to the world.

It’s not easy to do the maintenance on short hair at home. I have been stupid to cut my hair shorter at the age of 18 and will never do it again. I had to wear wig, plates and waves most of the time.
@@luisafrance1635 It was just the opposite for me. I found hair maintenance to be much easier when I went short.
I also got far more complements on my short hair than I'd ever gotten when I wore my hair long.
Any things that come from God is flattering to me. She did not buy no man made hair. Or other people artificial man made hair. From All these countries. 😄

I personally feel that when my hair is short or layered that I have an obligation to style it and make it nice everyday. But, when it’s long I only make it nice if I’m going out or a special occasion, the rest of the time it’s in a bun. Long hair let’s me be lazy 😂😂😂.

Why would people be mad at hair that's not growing out of their scalp? That always puzzles me. My oldest sister is biracial and has the waviest, thickest, LONGEST (past her butt) hair and she often cuts it to shoulder length (it grows back SUPER fast) and her friends and boyfriend get so mad. Yet, those folks aint buy her shampoo or fooling with all that thick beautiful hair when it's time to detangle or braid it. LOL! This lady is beautiful before and after!

She got a cute cut. Having chopped off waist length hair, I can say it made my head feel 20lbs lighter; I saved so much time washing and drying it. It was easier to style. And it grew back...because it's just hair.

@@anyn7339 Actually, contact/research the American Cancer Society to get reliable information on hair that is donated for wig making so those with NO HAIR due to chemotherapy can have a wig made if that is their choosing.

LOVE this cut! She always does beautiful work. I’m cringing at how she rubbed the hell out of her hair with that towel though! Natural hair care tip: Use a soft cloth to dry the curls and squeeze them dry. Rubbing will surely cause breakage!

GORGEOUS. I have the same type of hair and it was just as long. I'm 53 so I was getting real tired of the maintenance and I was just getting too old for that! Now my hair is shorter and not only is it stress-free to do my hair, but many think I look much younger too - just like this client.
