Stay away from heavy conditioners. Leave in conditioners are fine just not near the scalp. Must have gentle hands when shampooing. It is almost a raking effect. Super moisturizing shampoos are not your friend.
Just a few tips I can think of off hand.

Because the clients natural texture is curly. When straightened the wavy extensions better resemble her natural hair texture after being flat ironed. It will also wear better in the following weeks.
