- Happy Halloween! Boooooooo! No, this isn't the Phantom Menace review and please don't remind me that I need to make that. I'm working on it now. But, last week I found myself in New York on a video shoot with my friend Jay Bauman and on our off time we found some Ghostbusters locations!!
Please note: this was an impromptu adventure and not a planned video. I would have picked some better shots and found some more locations, etc. Either way it was a lot of fun and I made this video about it. Enjoy! And please refrain from writing "do more star trek reviews" :)

Happy Halloween Booooo too! You Hack Nerds/ I mean Frauds!!
This video was published 8 years ago and yet this comment is from 10 years ago... OooOOOoooOOOoooOOOoohh!
How could this be posted 10 years ago? its september of 2020, this video was posed in april of 2012.
@@dccprime1 ...because BOOOOOOOOOurnss!! 👻
Reeeee
This video is a hidden diamond among glasses. You could only find this when you watched almost all of their videos. So Happy Halloween to all Hack Frauds!!
1:40 so eerie seeing the twin towers fade away with the cut
somehow a mini-documentary about visiting ghostbusters locations was more nuanced with its nostalgia than the remake
Can't believe I'm only seeing this now!
Very impressive how they lined up the 30 Rock shot with the movie in editing.
They grow up so fast!
I say that to every horse I meet. The horses do nothing, but I often get funny looks from the riders.
I visited NYC and the fire station a couple years ago. And to be honest I’m more exited realizing now that I stood basically exactly where Mike did. Neat
I love how ironic these young hacks act considering they must have put hours of effort into this tour.
Wow I can’t believe they found the same horse that was in the movie!
3:17 the almost subliminal shot of a dog reacting to Slimer in the hotdog stand is my favourite frame in the movie.
this is cool what movie is it from
This was my first Redlettermedia video I saw. It was like crack. Hooked me on the first hit.
It's been 8 years and we still don't have a Ghostbusters II tour video. Hurry up you hacks!
Could we get a new one of these in 2022 with Mac showing Home Alone 2 locations?
The dog comparison shot killed me. Nice, quiet dig. You guys never miss an opportunity to create a video it seems.
@SuperBabu321 It was and still is a FDNY Firehouse. You can see the FDNY logo when Stolska walks up to the station. The interiors, I believe, were different, but tourists visit the site constantly and I'm sure all the firefighters know the importance of the location.

Wow I've gotten so used to seeing Jay with a beard these days he looks so wrong without one. He must never shave again!
+Edward Howden Its also kind of weird seeing mike so thin
Great video, I felt like I was really in New York.
I did this in 2011 for my 30th birthday. The fire house was open and I got to step inside and take a couple of photos. It was my best birthday ever.
You missed Washington Square park and the Lincoln Center.
I love Manhattan! I had the privilege of visiting there for the first time last August! It was so charming and wondrous! I envy anyone who can afford to live there.
Almost nobody can afford to live in Manhattan

@@RememberGodHolyBible oh man it's been 12 years already! Time really does fly by so fast. I can assure you that this video was indeed uploaded over 12 years ago. That would have been 2010, when the Phantom Menace review went viral, and so I binge watched their other videos on their channel, including this one. Maybe UA-cam resets the video age for certain edits made by the uploader.
Binge-watching all the Redletter Ghostbusters, so I gotta start here.
Awesome..!!! i love new york and ghost busters
now i have to watch it again
Good stuff. I went to NY recently and saw these sights myself. There's one I saw that wasn't on your vid though, the Lincoln plaza which is where Venkman did his little spinning round thing.
Cool, maybe I'll visit some day
Amazing
You too guys! Happy Halloween! ^_^
This was well great.
Well appreciated.
Did you find out what the old firehouse is being used for now?
It’s still a firehouse.
how did you post this comment 3 years before the video was uploaded?
Thanks RedLetterMedia. Enjoyed that immensely!
Have a Happy Halloween!
I don't approve of the screen ratio discrepancies.
Hahahahaha! It's true! Tourist come to tour the old Ghost Busters sites in New York! They always seem to ask me about the pilsbury doughboy...
IT'S THE STAY PUFT MARSHMALLOW MAN ! YOU IGNORANT FOOL !
wow very cool
awesome :)
Nice shot of the Bank of America building from 30 Rock.
great video...more star trek please :D
This video feels like 2012 & 2008 somehow
thanks Kanye Very Cool
There probably going to use the Moore Street location for Ghostbuster 3, I guest.
Classic RLM!! Hapopy Halloween Red
they actually used two fire stations in the movie there was one in LA
I dont think that is the same horse
There's nothing like New York.
1:47, I miss the wtc
0:59 Mr. Plinkett!
@rockdontrun
I think NY looked even coller in the 30s
Wheres Columbia? School I got rejected from even though I live in NYC and they gave my seat to some guy in Cali.
@Williamsfan probbly a real one now from the looks of it
*I* was saying Boo-urns...
*I* was saying Booooooooourns...
I think he likes Ghostbusters
You shoulda gone to AC for more Harry S. Plinkett material.
Booourns in the description. Classic.
Was this really done in 2012 or is it older? They look so young.
I'm guessing older. Most of this stuff was uploaded to blip originally and the phantom menace review is from 2009 which the video description mentions not being released yet. So at least 10 years old.
0:50
Die Aslan Die! (if you get that referance your awesome)
3:17 is this BUCK from married with children?
I wonder why you didn't shoot these at night
Good video. Typo in the title.
No columbia university?
@zcxvasdfqwer1234 they demolished it??
Before the alcoholism really took hold of mike and the fine grooming habits took hold of jay
Ghostbusters is my favourite film. *fist bump*
ghosbusyers
This is Michigan? Asking for a Scottish person.
Yeah great, when are we gonna see more (Star Trek) movie reviews? Those were one of the funniest things ever.
there isn't any more star trek that would be funny for him to reveiw
Happy Halloween, now stop scaring me with mediocre videos and give me your staple (whether you like it or not), your superb and humour reviews :)
Skinny Mike.
Dude, what happened?
Hollywood and alcohol happened. A deadly combination.
It's what happens when you spend your days watching lousy movies
i like ghostbusters :\
Wow, New York actually looked COOLER in the 80s. Thank you very much, Rudy Giuliani!
Aw, how come all these conservatives are giving my comment a thumbs down?
