One thing that should be said is that the Lenovo is not going past Android 12L and the 2024 support is just for security patches.
Nope, it currently has 13 beta so it will in the bare min get updated to 13
@@dryahnimaslepy4079 It will, but what I said back then was true. Lenovo had never updated any Android device more than once and the official updates schedule did not indicate any change for the P12 pro. In the meantime things have changed and Lenovo annouced Android 13 for the P12 pro (but not for other device that came out with Android 11, like the yoga tab 13), the first time in history they make a second OS update (probably given how behind they are currently compared to competitors like Samsung and Google in terms of OS updates) and let's be honest, that's probably as far as they'll go...
@@_Digitalguy Yes lenovo has been awful with updates but they actually marketed the p12 with and I quote "Enjoy 3 years of security updates and two OS upgrades from launch.
Ready for Android 12L starting fall 2022."

@@dryahnimaslepy4079 It's too similar to the Tab S7+ I already have so no point for me. I bought the Yoga Tab 13 and it got 12 but it broke dolby atmos and it cannot be repaired apparently so I have left it on Android 11 where it will stay forever, not a great support
@@_Digitalguy ohhh yeah not much difference between the 7+ .... i had a yoga tab before and I loved it but you sure are screwed if anything happens and I didn't get any updates either 😂
Don't get the support date, 2024, looks very short, considering it mid 2023 already.

If Apple would do something about their aspect ratio they could compete for my money but watching your video as you play UA-cam half the screen is a black bar
One problem for lenovo their arent many good keyboard case designs i like, not fan of folio and stand style. Especially if i like to be in bed and type on it and not fan of touch scrnee. Least ipad air 5 has few keyboard options i seen on amazon that i do like bit more. But i still love my lenovo and i wish someone would make perfec keyboard case for it lol Typecase i had for old fire hd 10 i had i loved and avaiable for ipad but sad to see that they havent made one for lenovo. Anyways both products are nice, my mom has ipad air 5 and it seems like a good tablet and liked it.

Why no 3:2 or 4:3 ratio on Android ? That's missing productivity on Android.
I really prefer the 12´´ format of the Tab S and Lenovo, they are much better suited for watching videos and as wide as the 11´´ iPads for drawing or productivity.
Ipad's screen ratio is a gamekiller to me , it's like 20% of screen is black in UA-cam while Lenovo is using the whole screen

I like Apple's products but I really don't like the monitor ratio of iPad.
You actually get 30 watt charging with the iPad. It charges my iPad to 50 in about 45 minutes
You get 30 watts charging too with the Lenovo p12 pro. To the owner of this channel and any Lenovo p12 pro owner should I worry about the lack of companies making screen protector for it and the case? Most of the stuff I found are not backed up with fulfilment by amazon to so if it doesn't work I can get my money back for the cases and screen protector. I read too that the p11 will get android 14 could that lead to p12 pro getting OS 14 too? I just bought my first high end I think tablet p12 pro because of the specs and the price. Over here apple and samsung tab s7 plus and s8 plus or ultra is like $900 to like 1.6k and the lenovo will it went on sale for $599.99 and with the pen that is a gen 3 I thought it was a steal, but it looks to good to be true because of the founding I found of the lack of support for cases and screen protector. Most of the stuff found are shipped from and china and no guarantee that if it doesn't work or if it comes broken that I will get my money back and I will have to pay for duty fee since it is over seas. Please if you can help put my mind at ease or at peace that would be helpful. P.S. I've never thought spend this much on a tablet that I am thinking of actually keeping. I know there is no tablet out there with an OLED and with 4 speak with SD 870 for that price that why it look like too good not to get it and try it out. Also is 6gb of ram good enough? the 8gb was like 100 to $200 extra so I went with the 6gb according to my budget.

Edit it is replacing my broken Asus table that has 2gb of ram and 2k res with 32gb of storage that I used for keeping food recipes, writing sticky notes, reminder, reading the news, watching youtube, netflix and to see if it is good for high demanding games like Cod mobile for the weekends use.
the p12 pro and p11 pro gen 2 are two of their best tablets so far in my opinion. They're just not as popular as samsung or apple.

I managed to find the Lenovo filo case that is made by Lenovo, but the screen protector not so much only one company has one and it got 3.9 out of 5. If made room in my budget I could get a samsung or an apple, but I find them to overpriced even though I like them too. Also, thanks for the reply back and good video too you already get a thumb up from me and many others who like it. There not many people do video's on less popular affordable products like you do. They really do help us people on budget when it comes to tech.😊

On the other hand, my 1st choice remains the Tab S compared to the Lenovo and iPad Air or Pro.
It's been almost a year since this Lenovo came out but is still running Android 11🤦🏽♂️.
This Lenovo tablet competes more with the Tab S7+ than with the Tab S8+ and iPadAir 5, and even against the S7+ it doesn't really measure up.
The Galaxy has better software, better software tracking over time, a much better pen and such...
The only thing a little better with the Lenovo is perhaps its keyboard which is cheaper and a little better than the Tab S.

LOL I am getting a p12 pro tomorrow and going to sell my 10.2 9th gen ipad. While the ipad is nice and I like it, you just can't really do anything and only having 64gbs is stupid. The 12 pro can function as a laptop replacement!!!
