In game 1, I believe he sent black witch off of Beatrice and immediately revived it with Selene, and assuming they both knew what each other were on he skipped steps to make his turn faster because dinh kha didn’t have hand traps.
I think what's frustrating about the misplays is that the Deck in question (usually Snake-Eye) is seemingly so brain-dead to pilot that misplays stick out like a sore thumb. Also, I believe he *sent* the Engraver from hand to summon Witch.

SE is absolutely not braindead. Takes kind of a lot of skill to pilot. At least it's not Invokhed or Tenpai, which truly are braindead decks
He detached to send Witch to GY, selene revive Witch
musk seems so cool going 2nd but it needs in archetype support
Game 1 Max only summons 2 monster because Last Stand negates and DESTROYS droplet on res, so it is no longer on field when Max resolves
Last stand negates and destroys. Only gets 2 summons
So what happened with Max resolving in the first game? Did he not realise he could summon three of it?
last stand negated and destroyed droplet, so it was only 2 cards on the spell and trap zone
I was wondering the same thing
