    Ghoti is some steps away of being a strong contender. They lack startes, even if they are classic “if this card is normal summoned, you can add 1 ghoti card from deck to hand”.

      that unfortunately wouldn't do it tbh, what we need is something that says when you normal summon banish a ghoti. The cards unfortunately can be very sticky to get out of your hand but can do cold fusion once you get them into banished circulation.

      @@watermellonchainsaw699 honestly this engine hasn’t been studied enough, it is splashable in some many archetypes, any 2+ cards that make a lv6 synchro can become an arianpos.
      I am testing it on a punk gold pride 60 deck.
      Everything is a 1,1.5 starter, doesn’t necessarily require the normal summon, can play through hand traps, has room for non engine, and the endboards are very strong.
      Currently working on a centur-ion deck with ghoti, it plays like normal but it gives more synchro options especially after making deep beyond on their turn. Plus if all else fails centurion is a good deck in general.

    You don’t need coelacanth to make arianpos
    (1 card combo)
    Nep send squad add drag, ss pike send drag add spirit and minstrel, spirit semd nep add teus to hand revive drag, make bahamut send drag make toad (5 summon, nib-proof) add moulin, make fortress detach add shark ss moulin loop 2, special teus send minstrel or shark (make sure this two are in GY) add gun or any merrmail (gun makes a different line for the gymir) teus and fortress for coral revive squad, pitch minstrel or shark to make everything lv7 make gaios,poseidra and royal, chain poseidra for shark minstrel and a lv3, royal add equip spell, lv3+minstrel makes arianpos( depending on your draws you can banish psiics and pike for shif) or make bahatoad again with icejade gymir.

      I have seen the line, it came up to me in a dream
      It has different variations depending on how many ghoti you want to play, ends on double toad abysslacia arianpos psiics and shif banished (with infantry in hand)
      Again 1 card combo, doesn’t require coelacanth, loops 2 cards, and if you drew, can be done with most hands even without opening prince (teus plus discard, pike plus discard etc…)
      Normal prince, send squad, add drag.
      Special pike send drag add spirit and minstrel.
      Spirit effect send prince add teus to hand.
      Revive drag, make bahatoad (detach drag add moulin).
      Make fortress add shark and special moulin.
      Summon teus (pitch shark or minstrel, both of them need to be in the GY for this combo) add pike.
      Link into coral with armor fortress and any of the 2 monsters.
      Revive squad and pitch minstrel or shark.
      Make gaios+poseidra+royal, pitch what you added with teus.
      Revive SHARK MINSTREL AND A LV3 and add the MR
      Shark send dweller from extra to revive pike
      Make arianpos banish psiics, psiics banished shark and shif.
      MR dragoons and make second bahatoad and add infantry.*
      Link bahamut and royal for abysslacia
      *THIS IS WHERE THE LINES DEVIATES, if you play snopios and/or the equip spell that negates a spell. There is a different combo
      You can link of the psiics and bahamut for lacia, and when you synchro on your opponent turn add snopios, you should have 2+ in graveyard already.

      If you drew shif (or any ghoti card except from psiics(maybe)) this same combo can add snopios and gets the ability to make deep beyond on comand instead of immediately after making Askaan, it also makes toad on the fifth summon so it is nibiru-proof :3
      And you get the mizuchi (spell negate) plus the protection from royal, something I’d like to add is that zone placement matters near the end, make sure you leave at least 1 for abysslacia.
      Toad can recicle coral anemone for more plays on turn three.

    I was working on this last night , and i do a few things diffrently. I use harpooner as my 3rd fish off of coel and i bring out ruby and pike. I make Arionpos and banish Snopios, use Snopios effect banish pike to add back. Then use harpooner and Arionpos to make Gymir Aegirine. I banish Arionpos to add a next harpooner but thats becuase im dropping a kairyu-shin. But you have other options. I like Snopios in hand and ruby in gy becuase it keeps them off field till your ready to use them.

    Impulse is actually super important. With crossout it's the only thing saving you from a straight up Turnskip when opening Diva into an opposing impulse without Rhine in starting hand. Deep Sea Aria is very good too, I think you're undervaluing Minstrel though. Having insight in your opponents hand is incredibly powerful going first.

      nib on the shark is pretty strong yea. but nib isnt too popular this format so you can hopefully get away with it

    Diva in 2024 is a joke. You lose to every single hand trap. With Neptabyss, the send for cost lets you play through every hand trap. You just lose if Diva gets stopped and you don't happen to have the correct extender in hand.

      if you play Runick variant diva is so much good
