for more easy peeled off the paint is u need to make sure the solution always wet and rubbed it off while it still wet
NOT A 1% CHANCE that finished gas cap was the one sanded chrome shown.

I usually put bout full tank of evaporust and let sit bout 3 days. Then rinse with boiling water a few times and dry it with air compressor.

You should spray on a coat of etch primer before applying the filler
Nice restoration but there's no documentary or explanation what products are used in the project.

What liquid did you use with the rocks .
Did you use a rust kill to stop flash rust when you finished ?
He used rust remover. If I would do something like this I think i would prepare a large quantity of nickel solution (or at least copper) to electroplate the inside of it.
