I need to thank you. I have been searching online FOREVER for someone to just give me some sort of a rough recipe on how they mixed their inks with pouring medium. It seems to be a real issue for people to even discuss this and I've had my question removed from a FB group because I asked. Thank you so much for this video. I really needed it!!
I feel like your filming in my dinning room I have my dishwasher and washing machine going at the same time while I’m painting. Thank you for sharing that was very kind of you. I am new to acrylic pouring and I thought I had the perfect painting and them I cam down in the morning and boom it was like 100% darker. I need to work on the level of the surface a spirit level would help. Thanks again for this beautiful art love from Scotland xxx
I absolutely love your painting it is beautiful and needed the black on the borders. I had one of those just go back to bed days today I woke up early and it was pouring down rain took my medicine and went back to bed
Thanks for the inspiration! I attempted this today. I like working with the acrylic inks. My end result was not as amazing as yours but I learned a few things so hopefully my second one will be much better. 😁
I’ve tried the Liquitex deep colours Acrylic ink pouring set, the colours are great but even when what I make looks good, when it dries, it all blends to a dark brown and the colours are not separate. I’m using a few drops of ink, is this wrong? As m I using too much ink?
Kaluw I’m not sure as I’ve never had this difficulty. I use 8 to 10 drops of ink in a plastic picnic ketchup bottle full of pouring medium. Maybe scale back, try again, and see if that makes a difference??
You can try laying down a layer of pouring medium to dry first, then do your painting over top. That will give the smooth looking you’re looking for. Good luck!
Jasmyne McIver not a weird question at all 😊. It’s a shelving rack I purchased from a store call a Menard’s ... you can find them anywhere. And it’s sitting on top of a cake decorating round spinning stand, so I have movement if needed.

Check out Kaminskya acrylic inks and pouring mediums. Their mediums are specifically designed to be used with acrylic inks.
I purchased the inks today and found you on you tube. Thank you so much for sharing.

Kathy's Soul Creations, LLC thanks for replying I’ll try your suggestions. Love the dynamism of your pours, they are so inspiring.
Kaluw awww thank you! Let me know how changing yours turns out - I’d be interested to see if it makes a difference.
Kathy's Soul Creations, LLC we had another go and it worked much better. Thanks again for your advice.
When i have used this i can still see the grain of the canvas ...any ideas?

💛💙❤️
Question: will I get the same result if I use Floetrol instead of Liquitex?
Gina Gray no, you will not ... but feel free to try it to see what comes of it and please let me know 😊
I don't know why you wouldn't have similar results as they are both pouring mediums.
Hi! I know this may be a weird question, but where did you find your rack that you are painting your canvas on? I can’t find them anywhere 😞
